So I was extremely hesitant to make this thread at first as some of these items are extremely rare and should be treated as such. However I have a good feeling the people looking for these will know their value and keep them safe. Without further delay lets see what I have for today. (If a moderator could inform me if the 5 dollar donation(per item?) is still required for 360 dev equipment please inform me.)

All prices will be in USD.

    Xbox 360 Dev Hardware:
Xbox 360 S Development Kit Sidecar *Sealed* (Note not compatible with phat systems): 1000 USD
    [IMG] [IMG]
Xbox 360 Development Kit Kinect *Sealed*: 300 USD, OBO
    [IMG] [IMG]
Xbox Proto Kinect V2 (Note does not work with computer or 360, includes required psu): 150 USD, OBO
    [IMG] [IMG]
Xbox 360 Krypton Controller(immaculate condition as seen in first photo): 50 USD

That Kinect looks like it's going to start walking and shoot lasers haha.

Never seen one of those before. I'm guessing that's from before the Kinect even had a name?

Hahaha they are quite scary when you give them the tripod stands. As far as giving understanding as to when it was made I would have to agree that it was before they had finalized the name and design. Comparing this to another earlier version it could very well be that more equipment is required for the unit to run with xdk's but without any documentation it is anyone's guess.

It's a prototype of Microsoft's time-of-flight 3D camera technology in the V2 Kinect shipped with the Xbox One. It's a different technology from the original Kinect which used a projected laser point cloud to perform 3D calculations.

Do you have any sort of documentation? That sounds very interesting to hear seeing as originally I had believed it to be a early xbox one ver.

Unfortunately I have no official documentation on these units. If you disassemble one they lack the PrimeSense chipset present in all generations of the XBox 360 Kinect. The camera and infrared projectors ("blasters") are very similar to the production V2 Kinect. The cooling is also reminiscent of the production V2 Kinect with a very large heatsink and fan on one side. The overall PCB design and construction is more advanced than the 360-era hardware Microsoft was putting out. I don't recall any date codes on the board itself but there are files on the SD cards embedded inside with 2012 date codes.

The 360 Kinects started out as plain PrimeSense development kits similar to the smaller unit pictured here: http://blogs-images.forbes.com/andyrobertson/files/2014/04/fgtv-kinectsports8-rarehistory2.jpg. This consisted of the sensor and an off-board computing box. They eventually integrated everything into one unit, which is pictured here: http://gamerinvestments.com/video-game-stocks/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/natal-prototype.jpg. From there I believe the prototypes started looking more like the final hardware, but with a slightly different shape.

Yeah but the ones on eBay show stupid import charges and don't have the EV sticker on the back.
