    Holiday bump.

    I'll be listing a model 2 Sega Saturn soon that is of the extremely hard to find variety that sports a model 1 style case with oval buttons and an access light. Region free BIOS and modchip included. There will be no "PM sniping" FWIW.

    Can you install region free bios in model 1 Saturn? Also, does it have the Japanese or us style startup and in a us console can it play souky in Japanese mode? And finally, how much do you charge?

    I can, the chips I have are universal short of the very first version of the Saturn's motherboard. The BIOS is a modified Japanese version so it sports the Japanese boot up sound and a few icon differences. As far as I know it's 100% compatible with all games from every region barring those that must be booted or played in 50hz mode which is an easy mod to add. My asking price is $25 for the installation with parts, shipping is extra and depends on what you want and where you're located.

    I know I have two GameCubes that have less than stellar cases. One is purple and the other is silver but I don't believe I have a black one anywhere. The purple has a bad laser controller PCB. Laser is a recent swap though. :/
