    Is the lower half of the purple one in good condition? I'm swapping my silver gamecubes case with the lower half from another and a full sized dvd case. Still need to install an internal sd card reader.

    Do you still have any of the Gamecube mod chips/region switches left? If so I would like to buy one. Also would you have a link to instructions that show where the solder points are?

    Just got some GC mod supplies from APE here. Solid product, solid seller...would do business with again!

    The Viper top cases are "cheaper" feeling than the stock top case, but serve the purpose very well. Make sure you lubricate the eject button before installation or it will get stuck closed. I used Dow Corning #7. A little silicone spray on the other buttons helped too. The center is a button that activates a few flashing coin cell battery powered LEDs. I wasn't expected that, but I guess it's a nice touch.

    I did the "no wires" install of the XenoGC chip. Make sure you get a little solder on the pads you're trying to attach to before you lay the chip down. There is no way to get enough solder down to the pads when the chip is in place. Way easier and cleaner than doing wires though.

    Bump. Added Saturn modchips. Model 2 consoles only and these are not the same stocked by RacketBoy. I have some that are similar but are SSIC7A rather than SSIC8B. Their PCBs are sturdier and less flexible but they don't like being installed and then shipped across the world. Installing one for your own purposes is usually fine.
