here i am, sitting on the steps of Saddam Husseins Babylon palace back in April 2003. apparently Saddam was at the Classic Gaming Expo in the states, so we just made ourselves at home.
Aha. Would you recommend visiting that one? I was thinking that my brother-in-law my appreciate it as we were probably going to bring him along for a vacation in Japan in a few months.
Sure, it's something to experience, I guess. The food is not particularly amazing (microwave?), but that's not why you go...
They serve you microwaved food? Lol. Even with girls giving you all their attention, that's quite lame. Quite unlike that cute bunny curry face XD
Aha. Haha, that's true. Well, figured that he may have some fun with it. That and it would be easier to avoid any complaints from him tagging along through Akiba whilst I trawl through the used bookstores to try and find two specific books I've been after for a while. But given the fact that he doesn't know how to cook either, I highly doubt kinda crappy food will really throw him off too much.
by the way i hate the selfie craze, and this was meant to be on my new member introduction thread also for some reason my eyes couldn't look normal while taking the photo so this was the best i could do.
I assumed it was, due to how insanely hot it was. Felt like it had been in there 30 seconds too long. I don't know. But hey, it was OK. Dude.. err, gurrl, you're going to Japan, and you'll waste time searching for collectibles? You can do that on the Internet, from home!
The books I'm after haven't been sold online - been looking for a few years, so has another collector. Particularly after a couple of specific books and then a couple of magazine issues from years back because I need to find the Clock Tower Ghost Head manga that was never reprinted outside of those issues. I have literally got every other issue from that year except those two. Though my visit would also be visiting family friends' in Tokyo and probably (husband's demands) stay for a bit at an onsen. It's not just searching for collectibles though - I like going to libraries and bookstores as weird as it sounds, I find them relaxing. Probably also helps that my husband also manages to find his indoor voice in them so I don't constantly hear yelling/American chatter.
Yay, a photo where I don't look 100% zoned out! My husband always looks good in our photos. I always look like shit. So bloody pale though, LMAO.
