I just moved into a new apartment complex, and of course had a few things sent this way, one of which needed a signature. I realize that they probably wouldnt be able to knock, so they would just leave a notice telling me to go to the PO and pick it up, right? Nope. Someone else signed for my package. Not only did they sign it, but they signed as me!.

Luckily, in this case, I got my package and that was that, but what if it had gone missing? Someone committed fraud, and could have cost me a lot of money, as the post office would likely say that I signed for it, and that was that.

That said, is there any way to have the post office hold all packages like that? I don't mind taking the bus to get them, it's free for students so no big deal. Otherwise, Ill have to look into getting a PO Box or something, which is just a hassle.

PO box is the best way - dunno how expensive they are there though.
