    sodium hydroxide should work on most epoxides.... the problem is that we have no clue of what kind of epoxide it is and the chemical characterist may vary a lot depending on the fillers and such...

    the most effective is supposed to be sulphuric acid at at least 50% concentration. if you plan on using it BE CAREFUL it can be really dangerous on skin (and obviously eyes) and "eat" most of the surfaces around your flat if you spill it. use some glass or 100% inox item to drop SMALL drops on top of it.

    the mentioned chemicals can be dangerous to use. if you have no clue about how to handle them, ask, or avoid using them!

    thanks for the detailed advice!

    Have you studied Chemistry in uni? or did they teach you that stuff in school? (our school's chemistry was nowhere near that!)

    my college school was almost chemistry and tissues only oriented. some call it the " university of chemistry" for the good preparation it gives.

    if anyone needs more suggestions or details on the matter feel free to ask

    I have found the pinout of a V.Smile controller via the labels on the PCB of a V.Smile Plus controller:
    1=VCC
    2=RTR
    3=RX
    4=GND
    5=TX
    6=RTS

    6 years old thread Necro bump ftw !!!

    I have one of those too, but never even tried to power it up. It was given to me by a Thriftstore owner who often give me non working or surplus video game stuff.

    A couple weeks ago I got interested in it and found this site, lulz
    It fresh from just over a month. Interested in V-smile homebrew anyone?

    Yeah, this is quite the necro bump. Jeez...

    Anyway, that website is REALLY fresh off the press- isn't even done. I honestly wonder why you'd bother with the thing. It's like trying to inconvenience yourself!

    I can't understand why you would want to make homebrew for this thing...but hey we'll see if something comes from this.

    Agreed on a 6 year old bump for the win.

    As for the V Smile Homebrew website, I'm one of the people behind it. I got a kick out of someone on this forum mentioning the site (a friend told me about this comment/forum) because of the site being so new and not a lot of content yet, I didn't think anyone was watching, but it's nice to know there are others interested in V Smile Homebrew. It seems to be a pretty fun little system, however I do dislike the giant "baby" controllers that come with it and much prefer the V.Motion controllers.

    Anyway, hello and greetings. If anyone wants to help out with V Smile Homebrew, shoot me a message via the sites contact form or comment here.

    Yes! That would be awesome to have a Splatterhouse port for the V.Smile. I would love to see a lot of retro side scrollers and shooters be ported to the system. There has to be others interested in doing this...

    Actually, I am quite interested in this whole "V.Smile Homebrew" thing. I am thinking about picking up a V.Smile now! I downloaded all of those PDF files on the http://www.vsmilehomebrew.com/free-downloads/ page

    Edit: We should really start finding a way to dump & emulate these games. Maybe even M.E.S.S has a way to emulate the V.Smile

    Edit Edit: Yes, M.E.S.S can emulate the German V.Smile. Why German? Lol

    It sure would be nice to have this console's true capabilities explored through homebrew. I think the V-smile is kind of ignored by the retrogaming scene in general because it is seen as a kid's thing with only boring educative games. But we do not know much about its hardware, and what it could theoretically do.
    Having some badass action games made for it would be ludicrously cool.

    Ah, you must be one of the 240+ people who has downloaded files from the download page hehe, which is totally fine and why they are there.

    Also, my first comment apparently went into moderation and not showing, so hopefully this one does. I'm actually the main person behind the V Smile Homebrew website with 2 other friends. It would be great to get more people involved and into trying to get homebrew going for the system or at a minimum some custom and/or modded controllers for it. The huge baby controllers are well... for kids... hehe... I do prefer the V.Motion wireless controllers which are a little more like a "real" console controller.

    Anyway, hello and greetings.

    It's German because that's the only version of the V.Smile BIOS that has been dumped. If you want other region's BIOSes, send a V.Smile console to Team Europe.

    So you must be one of the 240+ people who have taken advantage of the download page, which is pretty cool and why I put the download page up to share the information I've been collecting on everything V.Smile related.
