What's your favorite soundtrack (or soundtracks) in video gaming? It could be new games or old games. My favorites would have to be Earthbound, Killer Instinct 2 and Mega Man 3. I have way more but I don't want to put them all down. Let me know!

Blast Wind. Really, anything by Tecno Soft. Panzer Dragoon trilogy (Saturn) NiGHTS Sonic the Hedgehog 1-S&K Mega Man 2 & 3 Lost Odyssey FFIV and VI And for whatever reason I even kinda like FF XIII's music. Radiant Silvergun and Soukyuugurentai (them Hitoshi Sakimoto tunes are jammin').
I think this is the very first time I'm at a video game music thread and no one has said anything of Castlevania Symphony of The Night. Since no one did it yet: Castlevania Symphony of the Night is one of the greatest soundtracks ever made. And Donkey Kong Country trilogy.
I'd have to say the Super Bomberman 2 soundtrack. It's not especially good, but if play it loud enough for a couple of minutes and you can be sure it's lured in more than enough people for some awesome multiplayer Deckard: I'll see your whistled mario and raise you some a capella Sonic tunes...
There's far too many that come to mind, so I'll just make a short list of the first ones to pop in my head. - Pretty much any theme from The Legend of Zelda series. - Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams (Main Theme/Credits) - Everything from Mega Man X to X 3 - Metal Gear Solid 2 (Main Theme & Fortune's Theme) - Shenmue I & II (Everything) - Chrono Cross (Everything, but especially Star Stealing Girl and Scars of Time) - Ninja Gaiden I to III (Everything)
I should say that Castlevania 3 has an excellent soundtrack. I also love Double Dragon's Soundtrack. Let's not forget Metroid. Or any of the Final Fantasy games, 6 having the best soundtrack, in my opinion.
Streets of Rage, main theme (but pretty much all of SoR 2) Street Fighter II (Ryu stage) Zelda Wind Waker (not fond of the game, but some of the tracks were really good) Commando (old Arcade-style game, not "Commandos" on the PC) Contra (NES, maybe it was just the first level, can't remember) Edit: Jet Grind Radio (how could I forget, corny but I like it)
