"Sega's got a poll goin' on right now at their Internet HQ which might (or might not) end up being something of significance. Its title: "Which SEGA game/character would you like to see return?""

    Your choices:
    Nights
    Streets of Rage
    Samba de Amigo
    Flicky
    Virtua Cop
I voted for streets of rage

Hopefully this will turn out to be more then just a fun thing

    Everyone cast your vote !

I voted for SoR just because nights is obviously gonna win.

I think nights would be the best choice , just because the wii's motion sensing control is supposedly similar to what they were trying with Air Nights

As much as I love streets of Rage, I just don't know if they'd be able to make a faithful new version

I mean just look how bland it was looking for DC when they tried it

mmm, no love for Samba de Amigo anyone? But yea, I think NiGHTS beats it out... just by a bit though :) Samba de Amigo on the Wii could work pretty well...

I voted Samba. Imagine it in HD on the 360, with DL'able content like the original. Awesome.

I voted for Nights, and its going for a big 58% right now.

SoR would be cool too, and seeing the mass amount of new ideas at SEGA (read with sarcasm) they could go for both...

NiGHTS for me. Nights with the Wii remote would work really well if they could get it right. A new Bare Knuckle game would also be cool as long as they got Yuzo Koshiro back for the BGM. That was what made the game so good. It's also why I think part 2 is better than part 3 even though part 3 is maybe slightly better as far as playability goes.

As a Bemani whore I voted Samba, though reviving really old franchises like Zaxxon or Congo Bongo would also be cool.

I reckon Samba and NiGHTS are pretty much dead-certs for launches the Wii. I'd bet money on them.

Samba would be a great party game for the Wii, and a new NiGHTS game would also be something else on the wii. Hell, online mutiplayer for both would be fun.

Downloadable content on Wii too... plus motion-sensing controllers as standard.

I'm not sure a new version of Samba is a "dead cert", though, nor NiGHTS sadly. It's not like either saw massive sales, although after the success of Guitar Hero maybe they'll think more seriously about the former.

    EDIT: 2^11 posts! Woo.

How about freaking Shenmue? I want to see Ryo get it on with Shenhua!

In Shenmue's absense, Samba all the way!

The problem with Nights is that if Naka doesnt do it is going to suck like every Sonic game made after SA2, and the man said he may never made a sequel cuz he's afraid it may turn out not being as good as the original.

I wouldn't bet on Shenmue since SEGA is in a "crappy but sells!" business plan right now, ans Shenmue was a financial failure for the company.

An updated (not another friggin re-release) of PSO could be run on the Wii with no real issues, but they better upgrade some stuff like the number of avatars in screen (4? whats this? 1999?) and the levels, cuz they are too small for today standarts.

Just hope they dont fuck it up like they did with PSU...
