Looking to dust off the dreamcast, im feenin' for some jet set radio.... and the following, what are some good games that aren't that popular?

Tokyo Bus Guide (surprisingly a lot of fun, much better than all the other JPN vehicle simulation games)

"Sega smash pack" is a good one it has a lot of old games.

 

I've played all those games, the only one i would really play again would be tokyo bus guide.... come on guys hint me onto some good jap only games or something.

I wasnt beeing sarcastic, tokyo bus guide is a pretty good game. oh berserk... daytona ... gaunlet legends.... mmmm thats alot of games to buy, thank god they are cheap.

Wacky Races, suprisingly fun.

I spent a while tracking down Frame Gride, a dueling-mecha game that didn't get localized because the developer didn't want to leave out the online functions. It's fast-paced and crying out for a modern port.

 

Under Defeat because it's awesome.

 

How is zombie revenge? I always see the Naomi/arcade version for sale and it has me curious but i've never played the dreamcast or arcade version of it. =/

 

Get all the good 2D/2.5D shooties

 

Imagine House of the Dead 2 as a 3D beat'em up. There's not too much blood in it (unlike i.e. Illbleed), but it sure is trashy as hell and has lots of monsters and cheesy cutscenes in it. I really liked it when I first got my Dreamcast.

I believe just like in HotD2, you can unlock red blood if you complete it with the limited amount of credits. Not sure if this is available in the Japanese version though.

 

Don't forget Typing of the Dead. And Sonic Adventure 2 if you haven't played it yet.

 

Under Defeat is indeed awesome. Also, there's a good port of Twinkle Star Sprites. Tech Romancer is highly recommended. I liked Baldr Force, too, though it's really hard to get. Giga Wing 2 is also very good.

So, so FUCKING good. The epitome of 2D gaming was, in many ways, represented on the good old Dreamcast.

That and Last Blade 2 make the system worth owning.
