wanna dust off the dreamcast, game recommendations?

Well you're in luck! there has been many exciting releases since you were gone!

Let me check............

yeah...um............right the amount of new awesome games is still effin zero...

 

I don't fiddle with Dreamcast much lately...(I've been on a weird Commodore 64 kick)

...but I have recently gotten much joy from ChuChu Rocket, Project Justice and Marvel Versus Capcom 2. Multiplayer games, because I only play Dreamcast with other people.

 

For the record I got Jet Set Radio a couple of weeks ago before my trip. Never gets old.

 

I played Bangai-O for maybe 30 minutes when I got it. I think there might be something wrong with me. I'll give it another shot soon.

Maken-X is probably my favorite non-shmup.

 

As a Saturn fanboy I have to concur - the predecessor was the epitome of true 2D gaming
Dreamcast featured many great 3D-2D games, for instance most of the shooters. But true lowres 2D-goodness was symbolized by the Sega Saturn, no doubt. And Bangaioh's origins are on the N64, so it's not even exactly just a Dreamcast-game.

SNK-fighters are awesome on DC though, agreed! Capcom fighters as well.

I could choose loads more, the Dreamcast has so many good games.

 

Gunbird 2 is, indeed super awesome. I always wanted to play starlancer, and never got the chance.

 

Thats unlucky because Starlancer is one of those games that makes you stop and go Wow, even now if you get the chance go for it.
