I downloaded all available videos for Warhawk on my Ps3. I was amazed by the shitty quality of graphics and stiff animation - like a high resolution PS2 game more like it (yes, I know it has expansive open environments that tax the console etc). The game seems hectic, the graphics look like ass and there's tons of downloadable (in exchange for dough) packs on PSN. I m not an avid fan of online multi, mainly because I don't have the time to improve my skills, thus sucking utterly compared to seasoned players and ultimately ending up not enjoying the game. That said, I am still curious of what Warhawk feels like, but I m unwilling to spend money without having some solid opinions on the matter. So without further ado, could you please give me an idea of what to expect, the downsides and the upsides, as well as any special quirks that make it addictive.
When I had decent online I played it for a few hours and had a ball. If I had proper online now I'd be playing it. Like all online games it's much more fun in the first few days when everyone is learning the ropes.
I was betatester in warkhawk and was fun. Lot of people and some interesting game modes. It's a good choice if you like online games.
It really is quite fun, I still play it almost every day. Great game, and the graphics look great in most places (though Ill agree the animations are a bit lacking)
silly me for expecting the best graphics out of a next gen system such as the PS3 with all its hype and marketing, especially surrounding graphics quality
Not all games are about graphics though. The game is stylized, a style you hate. But it is incredibly fun in multi-player and supports 32 players online. Try it out before you discount it. It is excellent, IMO.
