Please don't tell me the majority of the posts in this thread have to do with people supposedly being lazy b/c they didn't spell that cunt Byork's name right.

Everything became more expensive when Greece joined the Euro. Prices went up but wages stayed the same.

this isn't noticeable in every day living though, people spend the same as before, if not more.

It is quite clear that has been the case the whole time, because the posts show that, as this thread progressed the discussion focused around the spelling mistake of Bjork not using the proper vowel expression to properly pronounce her name in WolverinDKs native tongue, which he adamantly defended against. Ultimately, it has lead us to this point in time..

Yes. Congratulations on such a collapse that not even McDonalds can survive in your desolate and failing economy..

I don't think this is generally something that we would celebrate.

But hey if you vilify a fast food restaurant so much that its' demise is more important than the well being of an entire nation than I suppose this is good news for you.

    *edit *
    fixed spelling errors

Yay, someones brought it back on topic... if anyone read the article properly, then they might have noticed a few things.

Most McDonalds are franchises which mean that someone buys a franchise and then has to buy McDonalds ingredents / parts from McDonalds. All of these had to be purchased overseas which meant that it was expensive.

The franchises themselves will just cease being McDonalds and turn into a local based fast food chain (with the same staff, locations, etc) which can buy produce either locally (which in turn will help the local economy) or from sources which are still going to be cheaper.

Although sales hadn't changed, the costs kept increasing so it was impossible for them to continue. All that's different is that now they can help the local economy and McDonalds won't be getting richer and helping bankrupt the nation...

Only at first brief glance ;p

$1? Whatever you say, high-roller. If you're REALLY broke, you just make tomato soup using hot water and their free ketchup packets.
