actually, what you are not writing. Is that The Icelandic branch of Mc D can not run , because of the economic crash Iceland landed in.
We can officially welcome Iceland to the 3th world now. Hope things get better when they join the euro.
I do not know any Bjork from Iceland, but I do know a Björk. Shit how hard is it to find the correct letter ? it is not like we are talking about Børge Rosenbaum whom you probably better know as Victor Borge. But yeah it is sad for Iceland, that you are loosing the Krone to the Euro, thanks to the government fucking the Icelandic economy up beyond the usual stuff.
Im pretty sure its not how difficult it is but much more about how much better your life is when you don't worry and rant about pointless things like that.
penis, pennis or penes, it all means dick to me. On Iceland.. the Euro will do you good. Greece, for example, has been an EU black hole for funds and legal obligations. The EU just gives the Government money and imposes fines because nothing really changes in my country, but things go down as usual, nothing has changed really for most of us..and that's a bad thing. At least the Euro offers a financial bedding so you know..no matter how bad your government fucks up, there's always other EU countries to throw money at you.
Actually on my keyboard it's not possible to use any European style accents on letters unless I run through a special program which is a pain in the arse. I can do Rusian though. Saying that I can do all of these as standard 〇★℃㊥Я☆й@з●㌘ЛИЮ¶∮ as well as 50 odd other odd symbols. Yakumo
Yakumo-sama I know about your situation, and other people who is in the same situation. When it comes to writing other symbols than the usual ones. But then again it is just a simple umlaut aka. " ¨ " not anything "fancy" like Æ æ , Ø ø and å Å like the last letters in the Danish alphabet. And Paulo is always doing his stunt, so I am not worried. Anyway if it could be any help to people, then the symbols I wrote can be replaced with oe = ø Ø ae = æ Æ and aa/AA when it comes to å Å
What's the view like from up there on your high horse? Because of you, I am forced to retort (on behalf of alecjahn) with: 'How hard is it to use correct punctuation?' I, of course, must point out you missed out a comma in betweeen the 'shit' and the 'how hard' in your sentence. If you wish to affirm that locating the correct letter in the Character Map is akin to defacating a particularly unyielding effluent, then forgive me.'. Unless you can name me an Icelandic celebrity who is actually called Bjork, then STHU. The fact that your previous posts are littered with a lack of upper-case letters and spelling mistakes does not endear your cause to me. Unless, of course, alecjahn was using a Mac. In which case - seriously, dude, you can't put two braincells together to press Alt-U first? Sheesh, some people.
Fairly difficult if it isn't on the keyboard. I mean, I have no idea - it's not marked on there and I've never needed it. It may surprise you to know that most English speakers would never need to use Danish characters, although actually that much should be fucking obvious. Isn't this the part where you start ranting about Denmark, like you always do? It is, isn't it? Here we go again.
Pedantic ahoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYyyqIZTvYY Björk obviously doesn't like it when people type Bjork!
In order to spell it "right" I'd have to learn the alt+code for that character, and unless I'm spelling Bjork (correctly) I have no reason to do so.
Are we being serious? I'm on a laptop, it's not on the laptop keyboard. And since I do not have a keypad I can not even do the alt code for it. I'd have to install a virtual keyboard. Good job at being a pretentious douche for no reason WDK. Back on topic, oh Iceland... the most successful (as far as I know) thing to come out of iceland... is Lazytown. While it has nothing (besides being Icelandic) to do with the topic, it should defiantly steer us in the right direction more than WDK being a cockfag for no reason. ALL HAIL STEPHANIE!
Just ignore him (DK), then your IQ will cease to drop. Anyway... I didn't know Lazytown was made in Iceland... Oh, and did you know Iceland has tons of single moms.... Sex on the first date is natural up there.
seriously does the English keyboard not have any umlaut on their keyboard ? Then I think I am sorry for being an arse when it comes to me being so darn serious . Cause the Danish keyboard has a button with ¨^ and ~ right next to the enter button. Or at least my keyboard does have that button. Heck I used to remember meeting a Swede who had bought a laptop with a Danish keyboard, cause then it was easier for him writing the funky letters. So I hope my apology is accepted. alecjahn: I am actually sorry, that I behaved like an arse, I actually felt bad afterwards . Cause I had done something I should not have done, and that is correcting some other persons English. But damage was done, and my punctuation sucks. Both in Danish and English. Since the comma rule is a weird one for me. In both languages to be exact, and it is the only rule I can not fathom . Even though "it is such an easy rule".
There are only so many languages with umlauts: Danish, Swedish, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Icelandic, Turkish and of course German. And I think only the keyboardlayouts in those countries got the approriate buttons.
