Well I'll be a RROD that actually can be explained....

I have two 360s that I got at launch. Only one has red ringed. It wasn't a hardware failure though. The spring 2006 dashboard update bricked it. Can't remember the exact trick but we cleared the bad update and both are still chugging along today, even left one running with mass effect on for 12 hours. I guess I'm lucky.

 

My launch 360 died after I got obsessed with Morrowind for a week. :lol:

Think had to have been on for 80 something hours that week. I'm surprised it survived the spring break when Oblivion came out truth be told.
