Sounds like its probably just an emulator. Its probably just an equal to a raspberry pi + retrode in a case?
This is not interesting at all. Just another piece of clone hardware, as if we don't have enough of those already. HDMI will blow up a shit quality composite image, well halleluja. Bluetooth-controllers - I couldn't care less.
I live in Milwaukee area and will be going down there for it. I'll take pictures for you all. All I need is a ride though.. I wonder how the HDMI output will be?
Why though? That's not how the games should look. They should look like they were being played on a CRT. That's how they were designed to look.
I personally like games without scan lines more. I have a Philips TV from 2005 and that thing is a champ for retro systems, but I like the crisper picture of my LCD TV.
Under the right conditions an old game can look great through HDMI Truthfully all these old games we should be playing on 20 or 30 year old TVs through RF. If you really want the truest experience. All my old gaming was on this ugly ass Mono Magnovox TV with knobs for Contract and tint and shit there was a knob for Volume and to turn it on you had to pull it out. For a good 12 years, that's what I gamed on.
Only if they are upscanned well. If not they'll still look crap. RF?? You're joking right? The only machine I played through RF was a Master System and that's because I was like 12 years old and played on a small 14" screen. Ever since 16bit it has been RGB. That's how games are meant to be played. At least to us in Europe and even Japan in the 90's.
I don;'t know what it was like in Europe but I didn't get anything that didn't have at least composite in until at least 93.
