What are some series that you enjoy?

I was origanally going to make a topic just to see if anyone else plays Dyansty Warriors but I thought what the hell, I'll ask them about ALL the series that they play!

So what are some of your favorite game series? (What's the plural form of series?)

Some of mine are Resident Evil, Dynasty Warriors, Onimusha, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, and if the other Kessens are like III, then Kessen also.

Which do you like better (1 or 2)?

 

Street Fighter, Sonic, the RE-like games like Dino Crisis & Onimusha, Panzer Dragoon, Mario (up to Mario 64), Wing Commander, X-wing and subsequent Lucasarts spacesims, and Gradius.

 

Have you palyed Dino Crisis 3? I couldn't get very far in it....

 

Gran Turismo (but I can't afford 4 :smt022 ), Gradius/Nemesis/Salamander/Etc., Parodius (though it tends to hurt your brain after a while), the MD Sonics (the DC ones wreck my head, the SMS/GG ones suck eggs in comparison and Sonic R and 3D were ATROCITIES), Final Fantasy, the old Lucasfilm adventure dealys (Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, etc.), Sega Rally, GTA, Kirby,TwinBee, Battlefield 1942/Vietnam, Final Fight, Hyper Olympic/Track & Field, Toca, Colin McRae, Micro Machines (the Codemasters ones, not that new ass - MM2 on the MD is the bomb explosive), the Kunio-kun games, Puyo Puyo, Pokemon, Famicom/Super Famicom/Game Boy/Advance Wars, Bishi Bashi, any Treasure stuff (they didn't really do series up until recently)...

Sorry, but Sonic R was the best game for Saturn (and that's saying a lot!).

it would be 2...

 

Final Fantasy, the Heaven and earth trilogy, Tales of... series, Lunar, Halo, Wild Arms, Arc the lad, Star Ocean, Metal gear, Fire Emblem, Metal Slug, Onimusha, Breath of fire, Those nippon Ichi strategy games(I hear that they are part of a series), Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, Bomberman, Ys, Shin Megami Tensei, Shining Force, Ogre Battle, Phantasy star, Golden Sun, Secret of Mana, Alundra, Growlanser generations, Front Mission, Timesplitters, Doom.
I know thats not 90% of the series that I like at the moment. I will get back to you all.

 

Half-life, Biohazard, Castlevania, Metal Gear (upto and including MGS), Final Fantasy(upto and including FF8), Street Fighter, Silent Hill, Bare Knuckle and Earthworm Jim (dunno if this counts since I only enjoyed 1 and 2).

 

How do you cope with all those RPGs!? I've played so many, but only ever finished one (FF8)...

-Final Fantasy Series (i'm on the X right now, i like it alot, but the middle of the game was boring and so linear)
-Dragon Warrior Series (i need the new one!)
-Metal Gear (including Solid serie) (Damn, those are so good Metal gear solid is one of my favorite game of all time, need to play the 3rd Solid now!)
-Gradius (particuliary the 5th, I started the serie with Life force)
-Dynasty Warrior (but there's too much of 'em!)
-Metal Slug (The reason why i need a neo-geo)
-!6 bit Sonics
-Mario (up to mario 64 too)
-The Legend of Zelda (Surely the best and biggest star of nintendo (imo), i bought a NGC 8 months ago only for the new one, wind waker, Ura, and the compilation (i have other games, but still...)
-8-16 bit Contras (they need to return to the old school style!)
