There was a Pachinko ending for 21000 yens last week...
Great Ice Hockey came with US Sports Pad with a different range of serial number than a regular US Sports Pad.
The manual looks like an US manual on the outside but the inside is really in Japanese.

It's funny how Adol insist on the fact that the Great Ice Hockey box is not of interest because it is white. I'm sure you would brag if you had it :p It's like letter coming with Darius Alpha, etc. No?
Anyway.. I've got several white Mark 3 boxes now.

The blue cartridge of Champion Pro Res is difficult to find, so are many OMV games and those have usually 2 different variations one being rarer.

Complete? That was really cheap,i'd have bought it if i knew.

    You're perfectly...Right ;-)
    I wish i have it,but i don't. :crying:

I was just pointing of the "few interest" in it because it is just PLAIN WHITE, with nothing on it, and i find it disappointing.
Darius Alpha letter or Nec Avenue envelope at least means something: it is a letter, written by creators of the game,to congratulate you. The envelope let you "feel" that you're one of the lucky winners back at the time.

But a plain white box?I mean not even a serial number,a bar code, a badly designed cover? Nothing :(
I love Sega so much,i'm really disapponted of this "lack'.
    That's all. :)

The Pachinko came with box but no manual. It was poorly listed in a lot.
I'm myself pretty pissed at the fact that I could not bid on it.
Last year there was a complete one which ended at around 30k
I think it's always good that there is a general disinterest in Sega 8-bit stuff, because a game that rare on other systems would fetch more.
Note that SmsPower released the ROM 18 months ago, it might have helped to reduce the price.

    Maybe,but i doubt it.
I'd agree more with the "disinterest in older systems" because they begin to be like 25 years old.

Ok,Pachinko didn't had manual..Maybe my twin brother will start the SG-1000/SC-3000 fullset (We'll have to sell an arm & a leg for Pachinko for Space Slalom or Pachinko though),so i could really say i have the Sega fullset.
As you know,we were too young to enjoy those games back at the time,we began with SMS, and i don't feel comfortable collecting something i never played/knew.

For those who haven't followed Pachinko, it ended twice near 300000 yens a few years ago. So now it went 10 times cheaper.

Have to agree that most SG-1000 games are not good (the sports game are awful apart from Hyper Sports) but there's The Castle, Ninja Princess, Pitfall 2, Dragon Wang, pretty good. I happen and that's total luck to have played SG-1000/SC-3000 before the SMS but it was game only. The people most interested in those systems are the one who owned SC-3000 and used tape software (various text-based games in basic, etc).

I do like the SG-1000 games, Monaco GP, Doki Doki Penguin Land, Girls Garden, Championship Lode Runner, Gulkave, Bomb Jack, Q-Bert, Ninja Princess, Bank Panic, Chack 'n Pop, Pitfall II, Zoom 909, Flicky could probably think of more too.

Only problem with some of the SG-1000 games is the fact that some of them did get straight ports to the MSX (still want a copy of Doki Doki Penguin Land for the MSX...).
