I'll be starting my training soon, and hopefully I'll find a job when I complete it. So I've been starting to dream kinda far into the future of what car I'd like to buy. I've currently got my heart set on an 2005 Audi TT. It will likely be my first car. What car/bike do you own or if you don't drive yet what car are you aiming to own?:biggrin-new:
I've got good old reliable public transport... Kill. Me. NOW! But if I did have a car it would surely be a 1980s Commodore. Can't get much more retro than that. That Audi looks like a race car! :racecar:
My current car is a 2006 Audi A4 S Line Avant, it's a 2.0ltr 170bhp but if I am honest the drive isn't great. I'll be looking to get something different in around 9 months or so. I was actually in the process (and a good portion of the way there too) of saving for a BMW 850csi but with recent events I now have to use this money for something much more grown up and sensible.... a little Kiff
currently without a car, my last car was a 1989 VW Golf mk2 black 5door with 1.3L engine and a 4 speed gearbox, payed £50 for the thing and it ran like a beast only done 42000 miles, sold it to a mate when i started uni. currently i got my heart set on a mk4 VW polo 1L 3door in green as my next car... yeah im british so insurance is a arm and a leg being sub 25. dream car either a mint BMW e30 or a late VW Corrado. Yeah i love old cars
Bowler Nemesis, I don't own yet BUT I will...*SOON* Only because I play Blur and it's such a troll car !
2006 Subaru Impreza STi Sports Wagon. I've had it for 6 years now and never had any issues with it. Solid car.
1998 Citroën Xsara VTS. Love it. But i'm starting to think about replacing it for a Citroën C4 VTR. Maybe a 2007 or 2008 year model. Or maybe some other car. It all depends on car tax prices and insurance.
1984 Toyota. 4x4, white, Xtra Cab, 5 speed stick shift, 22R California model carburetor equipped engine (all emissions systems removed. It was a nightmare...), no doors or tailgate, and was free from being wrecked by migrant workers not to mention missing title. Not street legal in any fashion since I made it a strip down model by removing all forms of creature comforts including the lights and completely rewired it. Has 31 inch BFG Mud Terrain tires on it for that "redneck look". Hey, I am a redneck after all... Makes a good ranch hand work truck...
1990 Civic Hatchback. Such a rice rocket, absolute POS. Kinda rusty, little beat up... it was under a grand though. Certainly beats public transit.
Welcome to the 70s. 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass coupe, 260v8, 19mpg. (couple not included, car pictured in much better shape. if youve stared at the picture for too long and have now grown a full mustache and are suddenly wearing a jean jacket, talk to your doctor immediately.)
Can't go wrong with classic American cars, those are mini-tanks. Most likely would own one if I were in the states. Subaru are great, I was thinking about an SVX many years ago. Now I'm into smaller cars
Current : 2004 Audi A3 2.0 FSI Ambition. Wairing for : 2013 Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI Stronic Ambition, with navi, xenon and all the usual extras (car ordered, just waiting to be released, release date is February so it will arrive in 1 month. Its a company renting car)
I'd like one of the big old SUV's, the kind you see on the side of the road with a tiny dint in it and a newer car thats all fucked up next to it. Those things were built to last. Unfortunately most are gas guzzling POS's and insurance would be a joke for me anyway.
