Honestly after finally getting the cd-i emulator working with my 360 controller I'd actually like to find something to play. Of course the compatibility is somewhat lacking so I'd like to hear what everyone has to say. The only game I've played to completion is Super Mario Wacky Worlds  Or atleast I've browsed through all the levels. Any cd-i games that you've beaten or found throughly enjoyable?
The best CD-i titles aren't games, really. I happen to have a copy of Todd Rundgren's Tr-I No World Order, which is a music generator that's surprisingly sophisticated for its day. There are a couple of other multimedia type titles that have the virtue of being unique, or at least not being repeated on any later console.
Apprentice is quite alright, not that I've played much of it. That and Burn:Cycle, which imho isn't that bad.
Well, not the Zelda games, thats for sure. I would like to recomend Burn cycle though, its a pretty neat FMV game.
Cinemaware's "Lords of the Rising Sun" -- it was better than the Amiga version, and provided hours of entertainment. "Voyeur" was good for a cheap thril (attractive women prancing around in liengerie and such, with Robert Culp chewing up the scenery.) "Burn Cycle" as mentioned by others in the thread...
This i`m ashamed to say is the only reason I want to get a cd-i really. Ever since I saw the gamesmaster gore special in the early 90`s which showcased all the gore and sexually explicit moments in video games, to a ten year old it was the best thing I had seen.
The 7th Guest, Lost Eden and Inca, I have only played the PC versions, but the video quality on the Cd-i is supposed better for the first two. You have to like puzzle and adventure games.
There are quite some more good titles released like: The Apprentice, Secret Mission, Pac Mania, The Lost Ride, Myst, Labyrinth of Crete.
