- The graphics are meh. Don't get me wrong, it's good looking(except for when the jawline seemingly changes from female to male when she smiles) but it's not even as good as the FF movie and that was what, 2 or 3 years ago now. IF it was really done on a 1.4ghz PC in a decent time(ie: Not a few days or weeks) then that is impressive.
I'd say those graphics are better than FF, sure it was good for its time, but there are a lot of places where it wasn't very good. Similarly, the final product this guy produced was good, but disappointing based on that test. So what if it took him a few days? Could you do better in a shorter space of time??
Nope Not at all, but you know what they say: You can give a million monkeys a million years with a million typewriters and sooner or later you'll get one of Shakespear's works. Frankly no graphics 2D or 3D, good or bad impress me at all, now what would impress me is if those graphics were being drawn in realtime by an affordable home gaming machine... but making models and recording invariable preset animations on ANY machine is not something that gets my gaming mojo going. The guy is certainly talented at 3D modeling, seeing this I'd say it'd be a shame if DreamWorks Animation and/or Pixar wern't knocking on his door now, but since it doesn't corelate to an interactive gaming machine I personally don't find much interesting about it. ~Krelian
- Oops. I was talking about the time it took to render. I forgot to point that out in my original post
