I got in a couple of laps of Gran Turismo 5 last night, been working some serious overtime for work so haven't been able to get more than 10 ~ 30 minutes of gaming in. What is a good price for Dead Space for PS3 used? I keep hearing it mentioned and now I think I'm going to have to give it a look. -Disjaukifa
$10-$15 Not sure how many new copies are still floating around but a while back new copies could be had for $20.
Still playing Resident Evil 5 co-op but almost finished it. On the last part of the last level and we've played it about 5 times now without success so hopefully it gets finished next weekend when we playing it again.
Finally caught a break from work. Played a couple hours of Tales of Phantasia (PSX). If you want an amazing game with a great story line and wonderful game play, you have to check this game out! I've got Dead Space now on my radar now, if I find a copy for the right price I will pick it up!!! -Disjaukifa
Just a heads up but I saw that Dead Space PS3 is actually a greatest hits. So you should be able to find new copies for $15-$20 easily.
Actually less frightening, it's a lot more gung-ho and has much less of the atmospheric "fuck I'm trapped in space" thing that characterised the original game. Great game, more polished in terms of gameplay, but I preferred its predecessor.
I went out to my local game shop to see if they had a copy and they didn't any copies. Guess I have to head to the bay to find a copy . . . Anyways played a little Gran Turismo working on getting better a drifting. I've been mostly using AE-86 but have been trying to get the feel of other cars, mostly a Nissian Skyline, drifting with a 4wd and a Turbo is complete different then a FR NA car . . . -Disjaukifa
Hope you manage to find one in good condition. I only came across Dead Space an year after it's released, and as soon as i started playing, i became a fan. As for GT5, just be careful with the save corruption bug (probably to be fixed on the next patch, available on friday). Seems like reading the news and checking the museum, makes the save file increase. When it reaches 4165kb, it's gets corrupted. More here: http://www.gtplanet.net/this-gran-turismo-5-bug-can-kill-your-game/
!!!! WHAT! Hahahah glad I don't ever read the news or go to the museum . . . wow that sucks! So we have another update we are going to have to do? Ehh that sucks, but hopefully they will fix a bunch of stuff and maybe even introduce some enhancements as well  -Disjaukifa
Seems like customisable gear ration will be added. Also, performance points, one of the best features from GT5P that should never been left out, will be put back.
Johnny you just full of great news! I do miss the Performance Points from GT5P! I liked racing cars that had the same Performance Points but they actually are only really good in a certain area compared to the other vehicles, made it much more challenging! -Disjaukifa
There's a topic on GTplanet forum called "Kazunori Yamauchi Tweets!" that some people translates his twitter posts. That's where i find new info
I'm currently playing Dead Space 2 on my 3rd trip in order to get all of those achievements. also going to be playing Catherine when I get home (Both 360) and finally in the last week I've been delving in to Saturn Game Basic. Yakumo
I actually got a break from work last night and got to play about 30 minutes of GT5 trying to get better a drift and then I spent 1.5 hours on Tales of Phantasia The more I play Tales, the more I love it. Its the freaking small attention to details in the game that make it so great. The game would still be great but not as good, for example, you run through water, you see the ripples and your reflection, go across a bridge and it sways. Yeah all games have that today but for a game that came out in 1998 I'm impressed! -Disjaukifa
Wow, everyone who's still playing GT5 needs to download the new patch, since it fixes a lot of the things I hated about it: you can now tell what cars you already own in the used car dealership, there's a restart confirmation, you get more XP for races...just a few examples (of course, the interface was still designed by a retarded chimpanzee, the AI is moronic and the load times are annoying, but it'd take a lot more than a patch to fix those things). Also playing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on 360 and hopefully can finally start playing Heavy Rain.
I loved everything about the update except for the fact I've noticed you get about 20% less reward on races now . . . other than that I really like the update, and I like the changes, but winning less much sucks . . . On the flip side new bonus races!!!! -Disjaukfia
That does suck, but the increased winnings were always supposed to be temporary. Besides, it's way easier to get cash than XP. The XP for races seems to be about tripled...which is practically what it should've been in the first place.
