C&C Red Alert 2. I've been addicted to Skirmishes. When I was younger I could beat a few hard enemies no problem, now I suffer against medium enemies. It's either a race to do a tank rush or build a nuke/weather machine. I don't know how the CPU does it but it manages to build all of these things way before me and have enough cash left over to build enough tanks to kick me when I'm down. BTW, does anyone know if it's still possible to play the game over the internet. I have a friend who lives 300 miles away and we're desperate for a one on one.
My brother got me playing TF2 (PC) again, but I've lost interest about 18 hours of play later. I think I may attempt to finish Silent Hill 2... It'll be tough to figure out where the hell I am, and I'll probably have to baby myself with a guide for the first little bit.
Found this, it has a link to a youtube video as well. Don't know if it works though . . . http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/914165-command-and-conquer-red-alert-2/48692338 -Disjaukifa
LittleBigPlanet 2, only played through the first few stages and it's already pretty great. Getting kinda bored with GT5 after playing it almost exclusively for the past couple of weeks, I'm on level 27 of A-Spec after completing this week's seasonal races, and getting to level 30 requires an insane amount of grinding. There just aren't that many events, and they don't give you enough XP, so when your level hits around 22 or so, your progression slows down to a crawl and you're practically forced to grind. It's a shame, because until that point the game is great and proceeds at a reasonable pace too. At least I can just leave B-Spec running in the background while I do whatever, so grinding in that isn't as mindnumbing.
I ve started Forza III yesterday, and there's also Alan Wake to be explored. My girlfriend got me a 250GB S model XBOX 360 and I m a happy camper. Hopefully I can catch up with all those great arcade games..although I ve mainly got this for testing/dev purposes.
Shift Extended PS3 Mini - This game is utterly fascinating. I love games like this that are simple yet so much fun that you can't stop playing it. -Disjaukifa
Today I shall begin playing Anachronox. A long long time ago I read a review of this in PC Gamer and badly wanted it. Somehow I totally forgot about it until now so after a little searching I found a copy. Can't wait to get stuck into it.
I haven't had much time at home to play games in recent weeks, but I'm currently addicted to Game Dev Story on the iPhone. My virtual games company is on the verge of taking over the world!
Phantasy Star Portable 2 on PSP After the rushg to buy it yesterday for infrastructure play there are surprisingly few people online and those that are are of a much higher level and dont want to quest with me =/ It is a shame really as the crowded lobbies (when I wasnt being a bell end RSODing them) and the social element were half of the fun. Still the game doesn't seem bad thus far. The graphics are noticeable worse than Phantasy Star Online on the Dreacast but the action is much more fast paced. On my old PSO RaCAST it was a case of enemies walking really slow at you, shotgun shotgun shotgun, they gt close, run away, shotgun shotgun shotgun. The lock on feature is a little bit hit and miss as it doesnt always lock what or when I want it to but it is good at least than I can move AND shoot, not move OR shoot. I'm currently playing as a Vangaurd as I like to get in close but don't want to be stuck to that role like a Hunter or Ranger. I don't really like magic and shit so the Techik was out of the question but if I had to I can do it I guess so win win. What does seem strange though is that every class seems to be able to use every other class weapon now but without being quite as proficient, though you do have to play with a separate in-character profile to do any of that or dilute your main spec by branching out your points elsewhere. I have half a mind to level a character of each race/cass for example I'm a Vanguard now which is an all round class so I chose Human because it is th all rounder race. The only problem with that is Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity is allegedly around the corner and you have to be reborn again and again and again and again to max out your stats... I'd no life it for once race but fuck doing it for 4! The other problem I have when Phantasy Star Portabl 2 infinite is released, is it is much the same as Ver. 2 was to PSO - not a new game but more of game + expansion. Back then Sega had an excuse for not releasing the expansion as there was no storage for it. In the day of cheap solid state storage, free patches then paid for DLC why wil lthis be a separate game? Also as with Ver .2 will there be a full character level and item importt? *shrugs* Anyhow this game is amusing me for the moment, I just regret that I didn't buy it closer to launch, or in the Christmas sale
Picked up Dead Space 2 yesterday. Thinking of checking out Breach on XBLA. Also, still playing the Battlefield Vietnam add-on. There's also Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 demos on XBL that I need to try!
Still playing Parasite Eve and Akumajō Dracula X: Gekka no Yasōkyoku. Still on the first play through of both. I could have beaten Akumajō Dracula X: Gekka no Yasōkyoku last night but I got side tracked with some drifting in GT5  *EDIT* 400th post  -Disjaukifa
PLaying this very nice indie shooter for the 360 called Revolution360 well worth the 240 points. Also givingthe Crysis 2 online demo a run also for the 360. s for full games, well Dead Space on the iPhone. Very nice and yes, it will make you shit your pants as long as you are using headphones.
