What games are you waiting for in 2009?

SFIV is a given,
Halo 3 ODST,
GOW3 (hopefully!)
Heavy Rain (again, hopefully)

 

Awesome, then everyone can shit themselves over it and change there review score system because it's so damn good and then never play it again or talk about it ever.

 

Resident Evil 5 and Skate 2. And I guess NBA 2k and NHL, but I buy those ever year.

All for my brand new Xbox 360 :icon_bigg. Basically all games where you get to bust heads :nod:

 

I'm not used to wait for a game (in fact I'm not used to actually can play a game as soon as it comes out since all computers and consoles I had before '08 were living fossiles), but this year I'm waiting for Diablo III, Gran Turismo 5 (which could save the Playstation 3, there're lots of people who are waiting for it to be released to get a PS3) and Starcraft 2.

 

Yup they look like they have put some effort into making the sequel, i love the selection of new games they are putting in but the famicom detective club parody looks like its going to be hard. LOL gardia quest was bad enough in the first game hehe.

I love the whole idea of games within a game, the tv show is great just wish those japanese dvd box sets werent so bloody expensive i swear they must use unicorn hair or something when pressing the disks as they are astronomical compared to the west.

 

Resident Evil 5 is the main one.

 

• Bioshock 2 if it has a proper ending (oooh how I was ripped off the first time)
• Dawn of War 2 or maybe Starcraft 2 if the terran game has enough content (doubt it)
• Phantasy Star Zero - hopefully it gets localised
• Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor
• Legacy of Ys: Books I & II

 

Street Fighter 4 shot to the top of my list. I played it yesterday in Chinatown, and is was simply amazing. BlazBlue looked nice as well, but for one, I wasnt sure if that it was the game at first (people were on it, and no header to tell me for sure), but it was, and looked very nice. Tekken 6 looked real swell as well, but people were playing that (and someone broke the second player chair lol).

But SF4, man, its amazing.

dang, someone drank a tall glass of Haterade this morning. :lol: I need to go back through Bioshock again. There's a lot of stuff I missed.

 

I drink Haterade everyday. It makes me happy.

I just didn't really think Bioshock was as great as everyone else thinks. Bioshock and Left 4 Dead are two games that people who never really play games but claim to love them absolutely adore for some reason, it seems. Not including you in there of course.

The game had a seriously awesome storyline, but a fucking game that uses the same god damn models enemies use for NPC's and bosses is art? Isn't that Mortal Kombat pallet swapping?

When it releases we should co-op it. Im literally the only one of my friends with a 360 that is even interested in RE5.

 

If it drops when I'm back on a non UDP-blocking net connection, count me in. I've been trying to drum up some interest among my mates but they just don't seem to give a fuck. One even wouldn't download the demo because he was too afraid of his XBL account getting wiped (as if Microsoft would kick off a paying customer for downloading a demo). Honestly.

 

Thats funny, i burned the RE5 demo for a friend and he refused to put it in his 360, for the same reason. I told him to pull his ethernet cable and he reesponded with " dude, that wont work. theyll know". I didnt even argue with him, i just nodded, grinned, and walked away:icon_bigg

 

Same! For some reason I only know one person who actually cares. The others haven't even played 4 or any others. Wierd.

What's ODST? Havent heard of that. I have heard of Recon though. And Wars. Will there be three Halo games this year?
