What is the most reliable Playstation/PsOne model?

    You could buy an internal psone mod vcd board, havn't seen one in years. Were uncommon even back then. Involved a LOT of work.

    This is what you buy in order to play VCDs on the PSOne (lil PSX) console.
    Liksang used to sell those things for $45. Not uncommon Assembler if liksang sold them. Although they stopped now. Anyway they involve a lot of work and soldering and tons of luck.

    I still wouldn't recommend a VCD Player since it wears down the laser.

    well you can replace the spring at the eject button it is the thing when it gets stuck when the metal sprong is old it will be more loose and not so tight.

    i opened my PSX up and saw the spring was old so that was the problem why my eject button sometimes is stuck.

    I tried getting one for six months... always on backorder.
    Now that the machine is useless it's in stock. Maybe it was high demand? Either way, I could never get my hands on one.
