Is that case the original case that CD came in or is just a standard case? If it is the original, does it have markings on it? Of course it is a test disc. A nutless monkey will point that out, but what does it actually do and what is it for is what he's trying to figure out...
Maybe it's for testing GC / Wii Dev stations to check if they are working correctly? That would explain the lame logo / artwork.
My suspicion is it's a test disc for Wii units before the firmware is loaded. they have shipped a few of those by accident.
Lol I remember that. When the Wii came out, the box said it came with a system disc. Some came with it, some didn't. And that's because it was already done. I was bummed when both of my launch wii's didn't come with it.
