Which 360 Dash was your favorite and why: Blade NXE (New Xbox Experience) Kinect Metro Personally my favorite Dash was Blade Because it was creative, it was cool, as well as it suited the outward appearance of the console very nicely, but the one thing that was awesome about it was how customizable it was. It goes with the thing that I use when it comes to design, the interior matches the exterior.
Blade (only really because it reminds me when the 360 was all new and shiny haha) Metro is my favorite. Easy to use Clean Has more features (you'd expect the last run of a console to have none, -cough- PS3 -cough-)
Oh I completely forgot about this but another thing that was cool about Blade and NXE was that they both used animated backgrounds by default which pretty cool if you ask me. and there is a random pic there I don't know how to get rid of :s
The blades undoubtedly needed an update as it was clear that XBL was expanding, but it had the best platform that just made sense. It gave the 360 a unique identity that has since been lost.
Oh wow just figured out that the Blade dash did this. Why they did away with it I don't know but its genius. ahh... you know you got to miss the old days.
Definitely loved the Blade theme. Just loved the design and layout. Am I the only one who hated NXE? Made the 360 feel like it was way too cluttered. I think Metro is better than NXE, but nowhere near as good as Blade. I don't remember the Kinect dash. That must have been really short lived lol.
They all kinda sucked, actually. I liked the blades theme at the time, but in retrospect it doesn't seem all that great.
My favourite dash is NXE. I liked the look and feel of it. It was also much more different than Blades. I have had my 360 flashed since I got it in early 2008. Foolish 11 year me ( at the time) didn't know what Jtag was and at the start of 2011, I upgraded it to NXE, because my friend got a Slim, which also had NXE. And the stupid thing is that I found out about JTAG a month later and I already had a dashboard that wasn't compatible.
Blades for me! What I loved about it the most was how it felt special, See maybe its just me but consoles always had this feel to them that made each unique and for the Xbox 360 I feel the blades dash was it. In fact one thing I hate about XBO is how it just feels like a crap PC to me(Still like the system tho), And while the PS4 does have that feel it sorta sucks use wise what with its clutter and its plain being unorganized... Looks pretty tho! Sucks we got that generic Metro dash in the end.
