You can. The Wii Key Fusion can be installed into a GameCube if you're very skillful. And by "very" I mean most people here are incapable of doing the install without botching something. I've yet to try it but I have 2 Wii Key Fusions laying about. With Swiss it might be capable of reading SDXC SD cards which start at 64gb.

There is also a HDD adapter available but I'm not sure if it can be used to boot games.

I have a whole box of unused Maxell Mini DVD-R Camcorder Discs (30 min, 1.4GB, 4X), about 100+ minis from a college student sale last year. I thought about keeping them for storing projects files and stuff in them but I bought myself a 1TB Internal HDD, and I do have a 320GB External HDD.

I figured people would want these discs for burning GCN ISOs, so I'm selling one of them right now as a test to see if there's really some demand for them.

Thought i would post some pictures of my modded cube..............

Bought this Euro PAL DOL-001 Console (Indigo) from eBay for under £10, working fine, but sun bleached badly!

What i have done to it:
    - Standard case (Mini DVD's Only! :smile-new:) - Custom Gloss Red & White (Mario Theme) Paint!
    - XenoGC v2.0 Mod Chip - Professionally installed straight to PCB
    - Adjusted Laser POT down to 200ohms
    - Super Bright Blue Power LED!

NICE!! Thing looks stock and brand spanking new. Then you pop in a burnt game or an import and... "WTF?!! IT WORKS ON YOUR PAL CUBE???!!!" *Epic troll face*

    That does look pretty good

Regardless did you just turn the pot to 200 and decide that it was all good or did you adjust it specifically for those ritek discs?

I spent hours finding a happy medium. That setting works great for the Ritek and Ridata discs i have (both mini and full size) but some cheap mini dvd-r's i bought gave disc read errors all the time (also tested the discs in my other ViperGC cube, same results. The pot was adjusted by someone else and has worked fine since i bought it)

looks good, im tempted to do something similar or possibly re-case it in a custom case to allow use of full dvds etc. i've got 2 gamecubes here same model as yours one black and one indigo.

@ JnL - i haven't bought any discs yet, i was waiting so i could check out a car boot sale (Sunday just gone..) as i saw some RiData discs last time, but i discovered that they are RW's, so no good. I will order some TDK's soon....

@ synrgy87 - Gotta respray my controller port cover as the Wavebird reciever has 'dented' it. Think i sprayed the paint too thick on that bit.... i did get another cube from the car boot sale for £3, so i can start again with the panel.

I got those Canons today, and they are MXL RG01 if that means anything. They're made in Japan and only burn at 2X.
I tried burning a Multi Iso (using the 3.5.4f+) consisting of Zeta Gundam vs. Gundam and Nintendo Puzzle Collection and they didn't take, as the screen went blank and nothing happened. I was using a Xeno GClone at 1.05 if that helps.
I burned a JP game, and it worked to perfection, though I wonder if these chips can cause overscan to happen.

I suggest using Phillips Mini DVD-Rs. They work wonders (100% Success rate so far)... from what i hear they're just as good as ritekG04's and don't have degradation issues.

Yeah, I might consider those next after I use up the current ones I have.
