HTC Desire, with a failing battery and SD-Card I'm literally just hanging in there, till August when I am due for a upgrade, will probably get a Tegra 3 powered phone if by then one of the manufacturers actually make one with a proper keyboard, I miss typing, touch screens are pretty good, but not nearly good enough for daily use.
Chances of a tegra 3 with keyboard? Very low. HTC just announced they will not be making keyboard phones anymore.
Maybe for whoever made your phone. Personally I sport a Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S class) running an alpha of Cyanogenmod9. Aside from poor GPS that was improved by the CM team it is a pretty good phone.
As I never stay in one country long enough have a contract phone, I have phones for various regions as Pay as you go works out cheaper. Current (Norway) : Nokia E65 America : LG 101 (Virgin) Japan : Panasonic 705P (Softbank) Elsewhere : Nokia 1112 Use a Palm Zire 71 for all the PDA stuff I need to do and a Garmin Nuvi 1310 for GPS stuff.
sorry but no, nokia 6600 is not the best smartphone, it's revision is the best, the 6620, bought one when new, used a lot never a failure, i used to do a lot of emulatin, it even can play snes on it, now my mom uses it, still with it's original battery. now i'm using an htc G1, baterry already crapped out... twice... good phone tho, can't do lots of emulation, doesn't had 3g, but runs quite decent, with gingerbread even, but it's keyboard makes it almost irreplaceable
Iphone 4 its aging now but I can wait till the new one comes out. Cant stand the need for huge phones lol they dont fit in my pocket. At a push 4 inch screen. If i want bigger I will use my ipad. I can do all I need on the iphone with a few choice apps. Did have it jailbreaked but it was too unstable so I'm happy as is.
HTC WildFire S with custom rom... still better than my shitty old iphone 3g i had before it. ive got to the point i couldnt give a shit about my phone aslong as i can get some sort of web browser and IM on it
Hmmm. Judging by the way people talk about their phones, looks like I'm alone for getting a new phone every couple of months. I make sacrifices to do that. Also I'll be selling my old phone (and by old I mean released a couple months ago) so if you're "sick and tired of it" PM me before I list it.
Quite well in fact. Partially because my school pants are dress pants with large pockets, and partially because I hate this new "skinny jeans" fad that's going on with all the young 'uns. I had no issue pulling it in and out of dress pants, and used slightly more effort on my jeans. Because of the lock button being on the side, you could easily just slip most of it in your pocket and push the rest from the top of the phone and not worry about it turning on. Also, the white version is sexy. I suggest you spend the extra time and effort (if any) and grab the white. Really stands out in a crowd (besides being large).
I had a very cheap and old Nokia until around a year back, then I started using my father's old MotoRazr V3 for a few months and since August I finally got around to owning a smartphone. iPhone 4 ever since, really good phone & gadget.
Samsung B2100 Solid Extreme. I bought it because I'm a tard and break everything - this was marketed as unbreakable (yet I broke it within a week). It has limped on for over 2 years now but does the basics such as calls, texts and phonebook. The call quality sucks though as the microphone and speaker are sealed to be waterproof thus dont transmit as much or as far.
foe those who the dead g1 battery, come hours ago i bought a nokia bl-5c (nokia 1100 battery) and fits perfectly, it does not charge but having a dead nokia i can recarge it and swap batterys, here the htc stuff does not sella so is a pretty good thing to know
