The best mobile I've ever had, sturdier, with best audio, best bulding quality... Just perfect, was the... Nokia 6630. Simply impressive. I'd still use it to this day if I hadn't had it stolen.
Just got an Galaxy Note a few week ago and I love using it! But it's killing me to be still waiting to get Android 4.0 ^^ New version roll-out on Android is way too chaotic unfortunately.
as i said my friend... 6630 and 6620 had same HW, except the 6620 looked like the 6600. best of two of the bests phones
too true. not a lot of variety these days it seems. that's why i'm eyeing the cyan Nokia Lumia 900. it's just a cool color that you don't see around very often.
iPhone 4 definitely the best phone I've ever had. Does every thing I need on a daily bases, I'd be lost without it tbh.
SonyEriccson Walkman w760a It's like a psuedo-smartphone, but it's definitely a step up from what I had before.
I am using a Motorola milestone with cyanogenmod 7.2, so sick of the appalling battery life, at least it's better than it was on the stock Motorola froyo firmware. I'm looking forward to my contract renewal coming up at the end of the summer, probably go to a different network too, orange suck.
Ladies and Gentlemen! The Nokia 1112 in racing red. This phone is great for SMS and phone calls. It almost never runs out of battery and has a great monochrome screen.
Ive been having a little tidy up and found my old phones, so thought i would share my phone history. My phones to date (left oldest, right newest): Nokia 3210 - First phone i got back in 2003, purchased it from a friend for £10. It made calls, sent texts and played snake. Ngage QD - I got this a year later in 2004, way ahead of its time in my opinion, a lot of people thought it was a horrible but i loved it. A smart phone that could play 3d games for around £130? bargain! Nokia 6630 - Got this around the end of 2005, a nice upgrade to my Ngage. My first phone that had with a camera, it could play a lot of Ngage games too. Nokia N95 - The phone I used the longest, got this when i started University in September 2007 and used it until June 2010. Having a good camera phone was important to me and this phone by far had one of the best cameras. I still maintain it was better than the first iPhone too. 5mp camera, 640x480 video recording, 3.5G, teathering, video calling, downloadable apps, portable wi-fi hotspot, fm radio, copy and paste, tv out... the list goes on. Way ahead of the iPhone in most areas except not having a touch screen. HTC Desire - My first touch screen phone I got in 2010, i tinkered with this so much installing many custom roms. Probably the phone I have enjoyed messing with most to date. running the MIUI Android 2.3.7 rom at the moment. I almost got the Nokia N900 instead of this, however i'm glad i got an Android phone. Galaxy Nexus - Got this in Feb 2012, love the 720p screen on it and 1080p video recording, I see myself keeping this phone for the next few years. Running stock Android 4.0.4 at the moment, will be flashing the MIUI rom at some point.
The Galaxy Nexus is a really good phone. I particularly like the soft touch feed back vibrations- not too heavy, not too loud, just right. Plus it's just a good phone overall, and one of the few running stock ICS.
I feel old here despite being only 22. I run a LG Neon GT365 and hate it. At least it is a prepaid setup and cheap. $50 a month get me unlimited talk, text, and mobile web no contract required. At least the camera takes pictures in resolutions up to 1200x1600 and play music.
I (now) use an HTC Wildfire, and I have been doing some progress in learning the ways in the OS, while I have been away from this forum. So to every one who has been out of the loop with the reason of my absence . Then I can now tell you, that I have had my gall bladder removed. And over 100 stones were in it, ranging from very small to a size of 2.x centimetres in size. And now I am on antibiotics, and painkillers. And I am still taking it very easy. Sorry for going a bit off topic, in an off topic thread. Nokia 3210 : was also my first phone, and it is still one of the most sturdy and awesome phones ever. It is one of those phones, that can kick back from almost every accident, you could have with it, and I also once had a Nokia Ngage , which was a nice phone, for what it was worth Before my HTC Wildfire, I had a Nokia 5800, which was actually not a bad phone at all. And well, I know it is a bit of a nogo zone, but if you are into torrents. You can get some pretty cool games for that series. Since AssassinsCreed, and Metal Gear 1 you can get for that phone. And loads of other crazy and awesome apps and games for it.
And how! I'd like to see any of these new fancy phones get twirled around and thrown up in the air like a baton :congratulatory:
HTC Amaze 4G running ICS. The battery life is a little iffy at times, but its easily the best phone I've ever used. Also, it took me a while to get used to not having a hardware keyboard.
