Well, i started playing games on my older brother Atari 2600. Then i got a Master System, while he got a MSX. Played on both, and of course, visit an arcade one time each month. I still remember playing classic games on arcades. Games like Pole Position, Double Dragon, Hang-On, Out Run, Thunder Blade, After Burner, G-Loc, Final Lap, Super Monaco GP, Choplifter, Tiger Heli, Rad Mobile, Starblade, .... the list will never end. :smt023

I'm not quite 30 years old, so the NES/SMS were the two machines I really got started with (I was the last on my block w/ an Atari 2600). Was the first to get a Genesis, had it a couple of years, then didn't get anything until the Saturn came out. Hard to say... I think I have the most attachment to the 32-bit era.
I am only 17, but my first system was an NES (if you don't count the Amiga 500). I had the NES forever, and i did not get a SNES untill well after the N64 was released. I got an N64 Close to the end of its life, so i never had too many games for it. As for my DC and GC, i got both of them within a month of their launch dates. All the other consoles i have are from collecting.
Well I did play NES first when I was like 5 yrs old. however, I got in trouble and my punishment was getting rid of the NES :snipe: . 2years later I got my first Genesis w/ Sonic 2. I loved that game and I ended up growing up with that instead and loving its games. Then I ended up with N64 but I still had my genesis with me and played it.
- Had a coleco when I was about 3-4 but the main system I grew up with was the A500. Played that to death for about 6 years. Only upgrade i ever had to buy was ram(a huge 1meg :smt040 ). Oh and a second disk drive for those pesy multi disk games. Always dreamed of getting the hard drive though(think it was only around 20mb and hugely expensive). Other then that I also played the Master System a lot. The Wonder Boy games and Alex kidd in miracle world were probably my faves. Those and the awesome Spellcaster.
Started off with an atari2600 followed by a nes and megadrive. The odd thing was that i was in my teens during the 32-bit eara but i had no interrest in the PS1 or Saturn , i just stuck with my megadrive and bought games for it dirt cheap because all the game/toy stores were getting rid of them :smt023
I cut my teeth on the Intellivision. Here is my system history in order not countng doubles. Intellivision Nes Snes Genesis/Sega CD Game Gear Saturn JP Playstation N64 Saturn US Dreamcast JP PS2 GC Xbox
Got a UK PAL NES action pack with Mario/Duck Hunt cart and zapper for 8th birthday. Quality. 2 Yrs later got a Japanese Gameboy for Birthday. And then an imported SuperFamicom about a week after Japanese release. I was the only person in my school with a Gameboy and SuperFami. :smt040
... Sega Master System,Sega Mega Drive,Nintendo Gameboy,Amiga 1200 and oldskool PC adventures(Lucas arts,Sierra etc...)then a friend of mine got 3D0 and Playstation... On the arcades the dons were Virtua Fighter,Daytona USA,neo geo shit... Oh...90-97 was my beloved period....these were the times....
I started with a pong clone on early '80 Then I got a Atari 2600. I had very little contact with TK80/90 (Spectrum clones) and MSX in the '80. Early '90 I got a Master System and so on PD
Atari 2600 when I was very young and then the NES for most of my teenage years. I got a Genesis the day they came out in the summer of 1990 just before starting high school.
My first computer was a CBM Plus 4. Then I moved on to consoles with the Master System then Mega Drive, Super Famicom, Mega CD and so on. Yakumo
