    come on yak, we all know you know better

    32bit == saturn , 3do, 32x, psx

    32/64 == jaguar

    64 == N64, (M2)

    128 == nextgen == DC, PS2, XBOX, GC

    pardon my nitpicking, just trying to hold you to your usual standard of excellence

    -ab , atari generation but too late for pong consoles[/quote]

    Yeah, I know I made a big mistake in my 1st post. It was written after a night out though at around 3am if I remember rightly. :Hangman: Saturn being a 128bit system ? I was well out there :smt011

    While I'm nitpicking, I should say *drumroll* THERE IS NO 128-bit system! Atari and Colecovision are 8-bit while we're at it :) My first console was a 4-bit Game Boy, what does that count as? I was raised on my Game Boy, Game Gear, SNES and one friend's Genesis and another's Genesis and Master System.

    Virtual Boy should be a 16-bit console, the cartridges I know for sure are 16-bit.

    I got my PSone when I was 7.
    I only had one game(destuction Derby) and a lot of Demos,but I was so young I didn't care.
    Then when I got older and everybody started getting PS2's and I couldn't afford it, I started going deeper into the PSone game libary and I got games like Metal gear Solid and Final Fantasy VIII
    Those were the fun days......

    The Blue Sky Rangers made me the gamer I am today.

  6. I had an atari, colecovision and intellivision handed down by my uncles, who were smart enought to buy tons of games post-crash for each.

    even though I firmly remember the NES and playing and renting it, I never got more seroius till the SNES~ We never owned one till like 95 but we rented one for the longest time from BB whenever a 3 day weekend or something similar would come up because my parents didn't want me to play too much. MY friend also had a genesis we would play. Even though some people say that 16bit was one of the most polarized geneartions and it "determined on which side of the field you'd play at recess" I never noticed anything I playedl both system cause they were both freaking fun.

    And I matured more on the PSX more~ but that didn't come till 9th grade for me (and my Ps2 till 11th grade~ I'm going to be a Sophmore in college now)

    Though since I started college my gaming experiences have receded 10 fold (where I once thought they would increase like crazy) but the games I do play...I notice that I play more "casual" and "easy to pick up and go" type of games~ basically I don't have as much time for RPGS (Which are my favorite Genre) so I can't play them anymore...

    Pretty Inteesting IMO how I've gone from RPGS and spending hours on a game, to a quick match of Tekken as I go to my room to study/chat on IM~to think I said I would never stop playing games (its true...but what ?I play now changed so much)
