Probably something from Mega Drive. We had that for years (Didn't even get a PlayStation until around 1999/2000 or something like that. At a guess it would be Sonic 3 & Knuckles or maybe Streets of Rage 2. Those were games we played all the time.
I'm not really sure, but I think it was probably Super Mario Land for GB. Either that or an arcade game. The original Gameboy was the first game device I ever owned (briefly), and I played arcade games long before I ever owned a console. The question is whether I had played arcade games before I got my Gameboy, and I'm really not sure. If so, I have no idea what the first arcade game I'd played was.
first i can remember playing was crash bandacoot 1 on my brothers exwife brothers japanise PS1 but my brother informs me it was Mario kart on the SNES
Lets see, I really cant remember which of these came first, but the earliest games I can remember was ,Street Rod II, Outrun , Prince of persia1,Wolfenstein 3d, Commander Keen(cant remember the number)I use to play them on my fathers PC , sorry I was 4-6 at the time and cant recall too much.
Would have been something on the Hanimex or the Vectrex, although I'm almost certain we were given the Hanimex before we bought the Vectrex second hand.
Why would someone have to delete this topic? Is it really controversial? I, myself, find it very interesting. The first videogame that I really played was probably one of the Sesame Street games on Atari 2600, either Cookie Monster or Big Bird. But my earliest gaming memory is seeing my brother and sister and a neighbour play Dodge'em on an Atari 2600 in my childhood home, which I didn't live in after I was 3 or 4. Either one of those will be the correct answer. I don't know the exact title, but it was certainly the Atari 2600. And I still have that exact Atari 2600 system; it is the one I use today.
The original thread has been deleted due to the user requesting it but I see no reason for what can be an interesting thread to be deleted. So, I have started another one. The very first video game I ever played was Monaco GP in the arcades back in the very late 70's Yakumo
It was Sonic the Hedgehog (the original). I have fond memories of that game, and still play it today.
Surely 1980? As the game was released (according to the schematics as I am trying to repair the *&%#£@) in late 1979 in Japan, so unlikely to have be released in the UK until the early 80s (the US version did not appear until 1980...). Mine was Canyon Bomber by Atari, I would have been 3 or 4, I remember it was in a motorway service station, probably on the M1. It is quite easy to guess peoples ages by what games they mention, do feel sorry for the young uns that missed out the silver and golden age of games.
