the first game I ever played was something on PS 1, no idea what though....(a friend had one back in the day)

The first game I seriously played was (yes, I started that late with gaming) Jet Set Radio Future on my first system, the Xbox, still just love that game :)
a shame that I sold this very Xbox and the game.......even the fact that I have like 10 xboxes and several copies of that game now doesnt help me over that :(

One of those 4-in-1 TV game jobbies from about '76/'77 ish that had football, tennis and squash games on it. The first game 'proper' though would have been Space Invaders whilst on holiday in Blackpool in '79.

The very first home game was a Pong clone.
The first arcade one was driving a fire truck. No clue what it was called but it had (for me) a giant steering wheel and my dad needed to lift me so I could see the screen....I was 4 or 5 at the time.

Hmmm, was definitely NES. Was either Jackal, or The Duck Hunt/Mario combo. Could be something else entirely, maybe Kung Fu? That's a hard question.

I have faint early memories of Doom as well. I can't believe I don't remember! :033:

The multicart that came with the Atari 2600 my mom bought for 50 DM in the early 90s.
"Oh, let´s play this cool tennis game!"
    *reset the Atari 30 times*
"Yeah, fun! The game that came before tennis looked cool too!"
    *reset Atari 29 times*

First serious game was Prince of Persia on an old 286 mom got for free. I was 6, she didn´t know that she changed the direction of my life with this. :love2:

My very earliest gaming memory was a platformer for the NES where you play as a caveman. And shortly after that was Blades of Steel for the NES.

Strangely enough, the caveman game might be my earliest memory. It was before I was 3 years old, I know this because of the house we were living in at the time. I don't know if it's even possible to remember things from that age, but the image of the game is still in my head.

First videogame ? hmmm it was in the early 90´s, and I believe it was either Silkworm or Double Dragon II on the Amiga, or any of the C64 conversions that came to Amiga. Anyway I can not exactly pinpoint which Amiga game it was. But the games that comes in as some of the first I played (and watched/saw) was Bubble Bobble, Dynamite Dux, New Zealand Story, Double Dragon II, and Silkworm, Rainbow islands. And Robocop:
    On the Amiga.

Yakumo-sama what thread got deleted ? a thread that GoH started or an ancient one ?

I think it is. I have memories from when I was around 2. There are people who claim to remember what it was like inside the womb.

In fact I remember things from when I was less than a year apparently... for example my dad crawling on a ledge outside the window. Years later I asked if that really did happen, and he said yes, and that he is very surprised that I rememeber as I was less than a year old.
