Why did you hoard Sonic X-Treme for a year? What did you have to gain from that?

He didn't "hoard sonic xtreme" he didn't own sonic xtreme. If you look in the achives previous attempts were not successful.

The thing a year ago was a botched attempt.

So no he didn't hoard it.

Kinda rude to say "What did you have to gain from that". Even if you did think that. Anyone who has it in them to release something like this should be commended, especially something of this sort of value.

Believe me hoarders hoard things because when released the game loses most of its value.

A well kept secret is that many unreleased protos are deposited into the United Bank of Video Game Secrets where a quarterly dividend is paid out. You need to keep it in a full year to get the best CD rates. Of course I try to go for the 5 and 10 year cds when available.

It wasn't exactly Starfox 2; That prototype, despite its rarity, only comprises a field! Plus, he released a video of that field. Not very overwhelming. Hoarding is wrong.

If you paid for it then you can do what ever you want with it, which includes hoarding. So neither releasing nor hoarding are "wrong" in the sense of the word as I feel you are trying to use it. And if someone has made a purchase in this field, no one has a right to tell them what they should or should not do with it, unless it was previousy stippulated in said purchasing agreement.

Assembler didnt own the god damn thing, get that through your greedy little head. You got the game, stop bitching. And go find Sonic Xtreme for yourself if you are so high and mighty. Better yet, answer one simple question: What the hell have you contributed to any release? Other then bitching, of course.
