My name the product of a two things that sounded cool to me circa 1996 when I started with America Online and needed a screename. Blur sounded good, and 2040 seemed like a cool number. Kinda corny, I know, but I was young. Could have been a lot worse. I could have been Assman6969. I'ts been almost ten years. I'm pretty well established online under this name--would be a waste to change it.
Simply, I use the name of my favourite charecter of the moment, whenever I join a forum. I was an Iroi Yagami for quite a while. Now, Warakia no Yoru rules. Love the way in the arcade his voice is so much louder than the others, so heads turn when you pull off his last arc. cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut cut (you get the idea) Gives me shivers of excitement whenever I do it.
I took mines from my family nick name ("Medo", which in Ladin means "Doctor") + kam (from Kamikaze) -> kam + medo = kammedo ^^ Btw, i discovered later that it should mean "Tortoise Doc" in japanese (kame medo)...but again, i could be wrong on that xD
well why do you think so?? big= yes i am (girlfriend says Yes) sexy= my girlfriend says Yes, again olli= well my, name (oliver) so that leaves me with bigsexyolli
http://assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4488&highlight=nickname Well my nickname is this : When a friend invited me to jubii chatten (the original danish lycos chat ) I wanted a cool nick and offcourse I am a Marvel fan and Jærven (the danish name for Wolverine) is my favorite so i thought hmmmm ... why not WolverineDK ? since JærvenDK would not be a cool international nick. so that is the story about my nickname. Æ æ = ae put together and pronounced in a way i can´t explain, perhaps the Germans and other people (Swedes Norwegians etc.) can explain it, since it is pronounced the same way as Ä ä
Edward->Ed/Eddie->Steady Eddie. Steady Eddie taken in most places, so my 11yr old self decide to "cool-ify" it a bit, so came with the_steadster. I know its shite, but I haven't been arsed to use anything else. Fortunately, AFAIK, I am the only the_steadster on the internet...
To be honest, three was my least favorite of all PS games...all others I have liked really well, except for Episode III. When I played online, I never could get into it as much as Episode I & II.
hmm mine is some kind of slang for real dark like when a city gets a blackout and all the lights switch off you could say in german its now zappenduster or real dark =) and since in my room its most time real dark ill like it
Albino- my skin is incredibly white. some people think I really am albino; truthfully sometimes I do too and my real parents are out there somewhere looking for me Love- I dont know...Albino is kind of an unoriginal name. I guess I just want to spread the love !
analog = The sound and smell of an analog keyboard gets me through the day winter = It is taken from a few things, one is Winterkalte: German Power noise. Two, is the thought of waking up to nuclear winter. ^_^_^
Survival Tobita is a "professional" wrestler who is very die hard. He's just a Japanese Rock and Roller! His real name is Masaru Tobita! Knock out all enemy! Attack all monsters! http://www.animehell.org/2005/06/survival-tobita-kaiju-battler.html
I lived in Japan, and needed ring name that would suit me for my Virtua Fighter 4 card (an addiction that had me tightly around the neck). It stuck, so I started using it on forums.
My nickname I picked up back in the 8th grade, a good 9 years ago (holy shit! I'm old!). My last name is St.Louis, and a teacher had begun calling me 'The Great Saint.' I signed up for a Hotmail account shortly after, and was searching for a name with no underscores or numbers in it. I tried greatsaint, but that was already taken, so I thought, why not greatsaintlouis? Lo and behold, it was free, and just out of sheer laziness, I've been using it on message boards (and eBay) ever since. AnalogWinter: How do you mean 'analog keyboard' - like the massive old IBM Model M boards, with the real weighted keys on the springs? Sabre: Your guitar is awesome! :-D Those Ibanez models are pretty sexy!
I was not in these forums. Remember, VF4 came out in late 2001 (or was it 2002). I had a couple of other names, but nothing major. I didn't frequent THAT many boards.
ROB is short for my name - Robert FuRY is the "cooler" version of "Fiori" which is my family's original name. I used to post in the old board as BiG ROB LoNG. That was just a nickname that my friends and I came up with one day when we were sitting at a baseball game (the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the Oakland Athletics). One of the players from the A's had a last name, Long, and I just liked the way it sounded with Rob. ROB LoNG... "BiG" was added to make my name more "gay". My friends and I thought it'd be funny if we all chose "gay" sounding nicknames just for kicks... Steve was Rambone... Joe was Joe Thunder... Adan was Fruity... George was G-Spot (oops, this one isn't "gay")... David was The Gimp... Paul was Chef Balls... Simon was Semen... etc, etc, etc.... Needless to say, our nicknames didn't fly with the ladies so we've since changed them. Good times, good times...
Virtual Alan Virtual - First venture into the more obscure video game world after NES/SNES etc....checked out Ferry`s Virtual Boy site and added myself to the chat board or something there as hadn`t long been using the www and sort of seemed cool at the time but now not so.....but sort of stuck as XBOX Live tag also. Alan - First name Alan Which I had used my PS2 On-Line user name HELMUT CHEEZ
Primergy - after the Siemens Primergy server series... got a monstrous 4x200Mhz PPro years ago and was impressed other nick is Laddex... short for LatexLord.. a nick earned on a costume festival
Just odd. When I joined the original ezBoard-based RPG Maker 95 forum forever ago I just put two random words together and it stuck. Sometime later I began signing my posts "Krelian" after my favorite character in my favorite game - no I don't know why I decided to either. ~Krelian
