I am known as Grace Saunders on many forums. She is a character from Alone in the Dark 2 and I happen to be a huge fan of the survival horror genre.
I choose mine after my guitar, an Ibanez Sabre 470 'cause my main activity is playing the guitar (apart from my job ). Mine looks like this but is made from mahogany tree with no color painting just the natural color of the tree, she's beautiful... :dance Sabre

I used the name of a character in a short story I made for Daggerfall. If anyone is curious, I think I used it in Daedrafall (a fan made mod for Daggerfall). I wrote the story .
My name is from Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness. You know how Ash and the medival dudes outfit his car with the spikes and make it into some hybrid car/medival tank? Yeah, thats called "The Deathcoaster". Just happened I had lurked on these boards for ages....and when I decided to sign up, the track "Building the Deathcoaster" came on my playlist, and I thought it was good enough a name Most of my net names are generated like that. Hell, my ebay id is "festival_of_servants" fpr teh same reason. No prizes for anyone who gets the game name
I used to think I was a casual gamer, because I thought to be hardcore meant to love every single genre of game and system the same. After a while though, I found out thats not the proper description of a harcore gamer. As far as im concerned, if you still like 2d games with sprites, you are a hardcore gamer. Thats pretty broad, but you automattically disagree with millions of Casual gamers for saying this. After all this, I use my name as being Ironic. Just look at my collection pics!
Radiac is an industrial abrasives manufacturer. I used their grinding wheels every day for three years at a job that was dangerous, absolutely filthy, and paid poorly. I use that name mainly so that I never forget where I came from.
I've been using Mark30001 back when I was in the sixth grade 5 years ago. How it happened was that I was trying to make a user name @ talkcity.com (back when I was a noob on PCs) The username Mark was already taken and gave me a suggestion of Mark30001. So I chose it! P.S. 30001 is also the SCPH number of my PS2, had it before the PS2 was even released...
Cerdo and Puerco both mean "pig" or "pork" in Spanish. In Junior High, some ten years ago, I sort of came up with changing the letters to make it look more "interesting". Thus, Xerdo and Pwerko came up. And I put them together to make my signature as a painter. Voilá. Instant nickname. Almost everyone I know calls me Xerdo now. And it does bring weird looks from people.
I named myself after a character I had been drawing for a while back in 1996, which was named after the place of first flight. Figured it was better than "Sailor (insert planet or star name here)" or after any anime character that was popular back in 1996 like everyone else did. I could claim I named myself after the US Navy carrier. That'd be cooler. After all, my real name, which is the same as a class of Russian destroyer, was given to me because my dad was in Officer Candidate School at the time of my birth. Then I could be nautically themed. ^_^
