RockMan and Forte Doesn't really count Since it had recycled bosses from 8. More importantly WHY does capcom think we want cardgames based on Mega? Do people actually buy these games? In my opinion Mega man/Rockman stopped being Megaman/Rockman when Zero came along. The Original Mega is an Icon Power'd up isn't going to cut it.......All new game. SO why did they even remake 1 if they had no intent on reviving the original series? There's something missing here. THOUGH with SF IV on the horrizon and a new Bionic Command I guess Never say never.
Lack of Quality ones more like it. EXE, Zero, ZX, Whatever the hell the new one is that proceeds EXE.....they all suck.
Im with you all the way. MegaMan is my all time favorite video game hero and MegaMan 2 is my all time favorite game. I make it a point to try and beat it about once a month. For me all I care about is the normal and X series of games. I really want them to tie it all togather in one great game thats 2D and crazy preaty. (kind of like some of the recent Atlus RPGs on PS2!) I LOVE powered up though. I was so happy when it came out I throught for sure they would remake MegaMan 2 in a powered up version. Im so sad they havent yet
unoffically they claim poor sales but I don't know any PSP owners that don't have/want those 2 Mega remake games.

The X series was definetly the pinnacle of the side scrolling games. I actually liked both of the Legends series, they should make another of those.
Last I heard the dude who made those wants to make a third one for the Xbox360, but that was back when Dead Rising came out that I read that.
