Why the shortage of GD-R discs?

    You think there would be thousands of these around.
    Any ideas why we don't see spindles of them on ebay?

    people probably used them as normal cdrs

    GD-r's are not usable in the home. So office take-homes would
    be of no use.

    Anyone run a gd-r into a cd drive and do the manufacturer info?

    Maybe we can contact the maker and see if they have any.

    You've got an good point. Maybe the 'supplyer' of some of the boardmembers has more then the spindel he sold to legit? (or maybe he can supply more, I would love to have a bunch of GDRs aswell)

    But still it's strange indeed that we don't see them that offtenly for sale. maybe the devloppers had to pay bigbucks for the discs? so they never bought allot of them?

    People just hoard them for value, or there might be a warehouse full of the crap , like that "limited" edition sonic pack thats now up at lik-sang for $9,99 :twisted:

    im hoarding the sealed spindle i got of 50 of the buggers! I did ask the guy i traded with if he had or could getmore but apparently he cannot :( amazingly though he was going to sell them individually for about $8 a piece - doesnt say miuch for their cash value then but as for rarity they kick some ass!
