Wii component cables? online only

Seems that nintendo not only never learns, but is also quite confident in its mistakes. This is truly shameful, they ruin the image of the classy Wii by being so *cheap* in their character as a company.

Has anyone done the D-terminal/component mod to VGA on their GC's cable themselves? I would be interested (hopefully the DAC will be left the same)

Only in the us, in japan they will be sold in shops.

You wont be able to modify a wii cable as the encoding chip will be inside the wii this time meaning that a new way will have to be found.

the reason that you never saw an unofficial GC component, whereas u did see unofficial PS2 and XBOX is that DAC chip i think.

 

but U.S.A Nintendo Wii brings component cables in the box or they sale in the store??

 

I already reserved my component cables in a store

 

I guess by making their official cables harder to get, they will be able to justify once again that their users are not interested in HD.
