i find the controls not too good and confortable (i.e. in zelda), not perfectly responsive (maybe the problem is in the software not hardware) and graphics so far are dull...

also...were are the games!? and RPGs?

i hope things gets better soon... it's amost a mono-game console right now :(

am i the only one with such an impression? also the upcoming games seems to be far in time and not so "wow" at all...

    share your ideas.

i haven't tried elebits, but the others aren't in my taste at all...

i think i got caught in nintendo's hype... and red steel's video made me think of something far batter than truth... i hope better releases came soon...

i hope for a new f-zero even tought i fear that the wiimote is not suitable for good controls....

my best wish is for a game in bushido blade style....

I ve had a blast so far with most Wii games. It's pure fun, especially Wii sports multiplayer.

Excite Trucks is fantastis with spot on controlls ! I thought it would be pretty poor myself but after trying it out in Toys R Us I just had to buy it.

I have only been able to test for a while Wii Sports, Zelda and Rayman. I understand what you mean Karsten, as in the short time I tested the games I felt that Zelda controls were a bit loose at times, but very precise on Rayman, so I guess it could be a software issue, or maybe a calibration on Zelda issue?

I'm hoping for an F-Zero too, loved GX even if it was at times insanely hard.

The only issues I've had with controls were in Wii Boxing, which seems to fudge a lot of movements. The other control issues were pretty much user error, me not being used to the controls.

other wise than 1 controller I bought was bad and getting use to the controller have not had an issue. I played ice age and it worked fine. I would bet it is on a game basis. because it seems the sensitivity can vary on games.

Yea, iv'e only got Wii Sports and Zelda and other than a few hours for learning curve it seems spot on to me. May come down to the individual though...hand eye coordination and all that.

I really cant believe how good the Wii is. I got the US version around launch date with Excite Trucks and Wii Sports and have since purchased Monkey Ball, Swing Golf and Trauma Centre.

Now OK Monkey ball and Swing Golf are pants, but Excite Trucks and Trauma Centre are excelent and Wii Sports wow!

For one my misses previously had probobley spent an hour playing Tetris and that was the extent of her gaming life. She is now addicted to Bowling, Tennis and Golf on Wii sports and as a party game with friends after a few beers it can't be beat! - And so far with no flying controller mishaps!!

For me Mario and Metroid will prove how good (or not) the console is.

I was looking at that yesterday as well. A few guys over at NTSC-UK said it was pants but for what reason I don't know. maybe it's just not as good as the Cube games?

the Cube games stand their own ground (in theory) in my view.

Manipulating the level by using a joystick is as natural, (and a challenge) as handling the game using the remote. I wouldn't prefer one over the other as they can both be seperate types of skill , and as such, different dimensions of fun.

I m curious about the game as a whole, not in comparison to its previous versions (I never owned a monkey ball game, I ve played it briefly and loved it though)

I ve had issues with wireless routers before and DS/Wii. Wireless isn't the most standard thing around if you get what I mean. Linksys is the way to go karsten, a specific model as I recall.

The controls are terrible they are awkward & difficult to use which makes the later complex levels a nightmare to play. Shame really as the graphics & music are great just let down by shit controls.

If you really want to experience monkeyball better getting the gc versions with the perfect contols (^_^)

As for disappointments the only other game i have thats shit is ennichi no tatsujin, same problem of ropey controls.

All the rest of my wii games i have loved, & with cooking mama out next week closely followed by naruto EX i cant wait.

Noooo, don't say Ennichi no Tatsujin is shit, thats probably the only game on the Wii I want! (when they finish a Wii Freeloader)
