My wife got one on launch day, not only is it a fun piece of kit to use, and very accurate, she has also lost nearly a stone in weight since she bought it as she has been going on it most nights I just hope that they bring some more titles out for use with the balance board, as after a while the routines in it do get repetative We Ski is pretty fun to use with it, and i think the upcoming snowboading game also looks quite enjoyable
how much is it in USA. Can someone check how much would it cost to ship it to Singapore? Probably a 7-14days airmail? I dunno the weight and dimensions. Thus I need help. hehe Thanks.
I believe the price for Wii Fit in the US is $85...or $90 at retail...but its damn near impossible to find one here. They shipped very few here. As the dollar is weak right now, the conversion rates would be favorable...if you could find one for the retail price...but the only ones available right now are only available from resellers...usually at least $125...which is a rip off.
and they're fairly heavy. heavier than i was expecting anyways. so shipping would be kinda expensive.
UK price is between £65-70, although they are like gold dust in the shops at the moment, my wife was incredibly lucky to get one on launch day, couple of friends of mine now have them on pre-order, and apparently its upto a 2 month wait! and yeah, they are heavy, with packaging i would guess around 7 or 8kg at least
Got one on launch day and is quite a laugh...............let a few freinds and family members use this and they love it as well Problem is trying to get any stock in the UK.............like hen`s teeth The excercise stuff is pretty good....and the side games are as well......I like the Ski Jump!!!!! I did read somewhere that there is another game being developed that will make use of the board, but can`t remember what it was for
By the looks of it there are a few in development, We Ski (family ski in UK) supports it quite well and is already out state-side, there is also the new snowboarding one by ubisoft (cant remember the name) also coming up is the new rayman raving rabbids, a cheerleading game from THQ, as well as the rumoured Poledancing game! (how that is going to work i have no idea!) EA are also bringing out their own Wiifit type game, which is also supposed to include 'Wii-wipes' to clean the balance board with Was defiantly a worthwhile investment in this household
I believe that EA is releasing a version of Skate for the Fit board also, at least I remember hearing something about that. I got one on launch day and I think that it has been used pretty much everyday.
Wii fit is pretty cool... had a blast playing the various mini games with a group of people (competing for top ten rankings)... But to be honest me and the wife haven't really touched it since the first day we got it (aside from the multiplayer metioned above).. we are pretty busy people and by the time we get home we don't feel like any form of work out.. (yeah lazy i know..)
uh oh... you better get back on that Wii fit and start excercising. i hear your trainer gives you an attitude if you don't exercise everyday...
