Could you take footage of the first-party game demos you've got? If you can install homebrew on this console, you can probably dump them too.
As far as I can tell these consoles can't access the Internet. I've yet to figuire out how to update the hard drive model one.
There are a bunch on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzuOI_mXYxEWAN3qC1NE_mGH_jiCVvkej
@Conker69 Do you (or did you ever have) a "Best Buy" Super Mario Maker demo? It seems that there was a pre-release version of Super Mario Maker used in stores at one point, and I'd be interested to know if someone has it. Also, do you have any first-party demos (or similar) for other Nintendo consoles?
Hi guys, recently picked up kiosk. Couple questions: 1) how has everyone mounted new tv in kiosk? Brand? I know it's 32 inch 2) anyone have game pad cord, wiimote cords? 3) I'm missing Lynx Innovation power cord. Replacement specifications? 4) if I can't find kiosk console can you load demo onto normal console? Thanks
2) technicaly, you can build a wired game pad & wired wiimote. the old stuff from Wii Kiosk are compatible. 4) you can't use demo mode on retail console - you can use demo disc (if exist) some retail games can control WIS-007
2) do you have any info or links to such a build? I have enough cable to do it on game pad, wiimote and nunchuck
for make a Wired Gamepad, it's easy. you need a console with gamepad. Gamepad's Wireless card, on the wii U console, have 2 output. on dev console, Nintendo have embed this two output in to a diplexer for use of 1 cable only. on retail version, they keep two output available. Actual firmware use 1 output only. Nintendo had planned to use 2 gamepad in futur... You need to buy "IPX / u.fl to RP-SMA jack pigtail cable 15cm" & RP-SMA 5M cable on ebay. for power, i don't have information but if you use a retail gamepad, you just need to recharge
I just acquired one of these kiosk units. I only have one demo (Donkey Kong Tropical) and I would like to install more. I do not have any demo discs, and I'm looking for a tutorial to install demos via a SD Card if possible Thanks for your help!
