http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20061101-8124.html If I have any money come december I'll be going for wii+Zelda+Excite truck+trauma centre. Yay!
Ill be going for zelda trauma centre elebits monkey ball made in wario & probably a few more jpn 3rd part games (^_^)
Me and a bud are going to try as hard as we can on the 19th here to try to nab one, but I can tell it's going to be totally impossible...I wanted Zelda and Trauma Center, but if I can get one I might just get the system with Wii sports first.
would be unusual usually, if you can find the unit, you ll be able to find the games you want for it. tubo
Well, I'm going to have a long negotiation with Mrs before having it ray: Might have to part with some stuffs on that one...:noooo: But yeah definitely Zelda and why not Red Steel or Excite Truck, if Resident Evil was a launch title... But I'm not done with Dead Rising so I can still wait but not too long though... Sabre
I'm looking to pickup the Wii with Zelda and Red Steel. I'll want to also play Excite Truck, Super Monkey Ball, Elebits, and perhaps some others. Hopefully the system and games will sell like crazy. That means more developers will show up to the Wii and they will stay.
I'll try on launch day to get one on a trip to Texas. If I can't find it, I guess I'll have to settle for some DS games, like Elite Beat Agents. Poor me
I probably can't afford more than the console (if I can even afford it).. so that's what I'm getting but later on I'm aiming for Zelda, Red Steel and Elebits
Bummer, no Sonic gaming for launch day, it are saddest... Dunno you but I'm fucking flying already!
Just Wii Sports & Zelda. I'm honestly thinking of putting my preorder on craigslist though, everyone and their mother seems to be wanting them, even though I didn't think they'd be scarce at all. I'm confident that I'd be able to walk into a store a couple weeks later and just buy one anyway.
Every video I have seen of people playing they are quickly snaping their wrist or moving their arm alot. I really dont care to do that on such a long drawn out game like zelda. Second my wrist will not be able to take that kind of punishmet. Now before you tell me "oh but there are not many battles in zelda", many video have shown otherwise, that this zelda will have you handling more enemies then previous 3d zelda (there is one recent video by nintendo where you have a swarm of 7-10 skelleton guys fallowing you). Personaly I am looking forward to relaxing games on the wii like golf. Something where you can play for hours with no sense of being rushed.
The movement in the videos is likely extreme. Many people said you could get the same effect with far more effortless motions that won't tire you out at all. Besides it's good for you to move your hands/arms in different ways for exercise. I do agree though, I'm not looking for anything extreme.
Exercise is good but my forarms and wrist are pretty screwed up thanks to using pcs so much. I know you dont need much effort but it seems like the lazier way involves quick twisting of the wrist which will bother my wrist. It actualy would be better for me to do the more exadurated swing as you really dont move your wrist, it's more just swinging your arm. -- side note -- Something I find funny. Go on any hardcore Wii board (like say ign) and say you prefer to wait on the Gcn version of zelda but still will get a wii. They will attack you like you just said Wii is for 12 year old loosers. It's insane. :noooo: It's crazy. I love zelda and cant wait to play it this year but why is it all of a sudden a crime to want to play the gcn version insted.
Wii, I just got confirmation from work I'm getting a wii (just comming 1-2 days after launch).
Man I almost get banned from some forum cuz the moderators were all die-hard nintendo fanboys. Is like some 1984 shit in those places....
