WIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........anounced release

Somewhat off topic: I just recently made the switch to Linux (Ubuntu) and I have my PC plugged to my TV as well.

Please, if you could help me set up something like your setup, I'd be eternally thankful.

Any links to guides, recommendations, or something?

 

Funny enough, I was thinking just about the same thing. Are you looking forward to Gears of War on 360 too? That's what I want. Gears of War for 360 and a Wii with Zelda and some other games. Ofcourse Lost Planet is coming early next year too. So many goodies to get. And Metroid Prime 3 is next year along with Mario and Smash Bros.

 

If smash bros. doesn't do proper online play and downloadable levels/characters, I can't predict my reaction, but let's say I am going to be pretty pissed off

 

I'm pleased that Nintendo has finally decided to announce the Wii pricing and release date for the UK, and fortunately the slight delay (considering most people were expecting November at the absolute latest) is great news for me as I now have a little extra time when it comes to saving up for more of the launch titles. In addition to probably Excite Truck and Red Steel, I'll probably now also be able to afford a second remote and nunchuk - plus I may put some credit aside for the better Virtual Console games...
