Wiki project 5/20/08 plz read.

i suggest only voluteers to be able to post articles. people willingly to post articles should submit them to those people so that we can avoid spam at 100%...

what do you guys think?

Though I do agree that captcha is a pretty bad solution as it doesn't work well for people with bad sight and people with dyslexia.

 

Hmmm, good idea, but doesn't that defeat the whole point of Wiki and the ability for anyone with genuine information to simply add in?

actually i think that our wiki is quite atypical for saying so... beside just the wiki part it's supposed to contain several infos/guides/how tos too.

i would prefer the wiki to stay free, but we can't fight night and day against bots right? i edited and created many articles (most notably the snes cd rom one), but when the spaming came out i stopped out of frustation...
