Will My Plan for Xbox 360 Work?

This is where I am at, the tech found like we suspected that the Jasper had been patched so it couldn't be Jtag'd.

But he put in a Cool Runner C and says it now glitches first time even when he put the case back on, he says he has never seen better than that, I have sent him a new 1TB hard drive which he is putting in place of the old 20gb one I had, and installing FSD, emulators etc.

This is turning out better than I expected.

Shame. I still have a couple chips, and they are available from China.

 

With all the weather shipping delays my Xbox 360 Jasper with RGH1 Coolrunner 3, 1Tb hdd and FSD etc is on it's way back to me this week.

Can't wait to check this thing out, I have only ever messed with my Original Tsop'd Xbox so this will be a new learning process.

 

Got my Xbox back today and tried it out, it loads quick, can't tell any difference between what it was like stock and now, the FSD is good too, but after having XBMC on my original Xbox's I really prefer that for ease of use but I am still experimenting with it.

Anyone know what the running temps should be for the CPU & GPU in celcius? My original Xbox runs both around 40c. The fan is set to auto, is that okay, or should I set it manually?

 

40 is fine for jasper, shoot i got a xenon with 2 extra fans running at 100% and the temps are around 70c for cpu 60c for gpu etc...

 

By original Xbox I meant like the one in my Avatar, the Jasper is around 50c for the CPU and 60c for the GPU.
