They have 3 different models there. slim45XDK开发机 - Slim, 45nm. Presumably doesn't come with a sidecar. 全新90高清带大帽子XDK - New 90nm with sidecar (I.E. Xenon or Zephyr) 85新双65不带大帽子XDK - "85% new" dual 65nm with sidecar (I.E. Jasper) "85% new" means functional, but with obvious signs of use and possibly minor cosmetic damage There are also two package options: 单机标配 - Just the console 套餐一 - "Set meal 1" The "Set meal 1" package includes the console with sidecar (including 120GB HDD) and a 213W power adapter. Note that it's very likely the power adapter will be 220V. I don't know anything about that supplier, but according to the page he's been trading on TaoBao for the last 6 years and has 1465 positive, 3 neutral and 1 negative feedback over the last 6 months. Incidentally, "大帽子" actually means "big hat" - but in the case of XDKs is used for the sidecar.
Thank you for clearing that up for me, I live in the UK so if it is 220V then thats fine by me, 85% new, thats probably the best one to go with right? The zephyrs may be new but the jasper would technically outlive the zephyr based on common knowledge of jaspers. Would you buy one of those? or is it better to just wait for someone to sell one on here?
Sorry, I just realized I got that wrong - the Jasper does NOT have a sidecar - I somehow managed to miss that "不" bit... Generally, my experience with Taobao has been pretty good - but I normally get someone to talk to the seller before placing an order - which is obviously easier if you work in an office that's full of Chinese people.
Last I checked these were all sold. But, to double check get a proxy and have them ask the questions to the seller. Also, that unit in the black case is a 008 dev console that the seller, or who ever, put a standard gray gen1 sidecar on.
