Wipeout HD details (price, date, etc)

I got the chance to play Wipeout HD at PAX (for about 4 hours) and it kicks ass. 9 days to go.

P.S. If anyone wants to unload one of those hard copies... PM me, I'm interested.

P.S.S. If any of you remember back a few years (near Wipeout Pure launch) there was a rave event in Europe somewhere that had a full Wipeout simulator that you sat in and it moved, etc. Any idea on where this is now or how I might be able to get it (or at least try it)?

Nice tin case, why games dont come in altoid-like cans? that would be cool.

It was a custom simulator for sure, I bet is gone.

 

Do you remember that Wipeout-style game on that lame movie Hackers?

It has PlayStation logos on it. I wonder what was that thing? Just CG maybe?

 

That was actually an alpha version of Wipeout, running on a Silicon Graphics machine. One of the many 'oh, I so want that one' unreleased goodies! :love2:

I always thought it was CG.

 

Anyone have details on how to obtain a physical copy of Wipeout HD. It is one of the prettiest packages I've seen in awhile

i don't mind dl games. i just want to play the game. i could care less how i do so.
