...It's a arwing! Whats even more interesting is the enemy AI is completely in the game, and the arwing will attack you and die like normal. If anyone has a N64 gameshark, a copy of the game (or a emulator and the ROM), and a N64, it would be great if someone could try this out.

Everytime I read about such oddities (like this and some of the stuff was found in Goldeneye) I hope some picks up checking Saturn/DC etc games for stuff like this. When it comes to things like this, the N64 community is very strong.

LOOK OUT, FOX!! DO A BARREL ROLL!!!!:smt082

This is why I like my N64 and the hardcore fans because they still hack the shit out of them and we end up with this nice find within what's considered to be a kickass game.

I saw this about an hour ago. It's very cool, but I can't see how that ended up in there. Maybe a programmer was stoned that day or something.

juswt because the programmers are japanese, doesn't mean they dont have a sense of humor like us programmers. Now go check every other zelda game!!

Don't get me wrong - I think it's pretty neat. Did they expect anyone to find this, though? I wonder if there's some way to find it in-game.

I heard there was a secret "other World" in a Link to the past. The Golden Land or something like that, and was only accessable through DoDongo's battle room or something weird. But that was not real.

All these new finds in Zelda 64 makes me wonder if in fact you can get the triforce afterall.

the golden land is the ''past'' land. and dodongo is only in the first zelda and OOT.

there's a secret world for the first zelda though.

The rumor wasnt about the "past" land. It was accessable through one of the bosses battle arenas, (the Red crustacean boss thingy), and it took you to a land where there were nothing but one eyed giants, and you could get the triforce there, and a really strong sword or something, too. Note that it was a rumor about a third world, where there are supposedly stronger weapons.

What is the secret world in the first Zelda? What do I need to do to find it?

just type zelda as your name. It's an harcore world, with new dungeons and all. They call it the second quest. It can also be accessed after you beat the game.

I recall some early pictures of a beta version of the game showing something that looked like a triforce....anyone confirms?

it was from an early version of the game where they were still testing dugeons and such, though they said it was in that version of the game, and a supposed 2nd version that was almost fully scrapped due to the format switching to cartridge. Still there are people that belive that its still hidden away in the final game, wouldnt shock me if it was, anyone remember how the epiosde 1 ship was secret in rouge squadren for a long ass time till lucas arts revealed it, causeing peopel to be shocked.

I knew about that secret world. I thought only the music and icon changed in that version.

  19. Oh my god! I used the Gameshark code for this hack, and sure enough, there's an Arwing flying around the Kokiri village! And it's a pretty aggressive little shit, too!
It only takes three arrows to bring him down, but the whole crash landing thing is pretty funny, too. I wonder what other odd secrets are buried in Ocarina Of Time? I find the whole idea of being able to change it to the Japanese version with just a GS code pretty amusing as well.

you know this is just a slight hunch, but is it possible this was part of the whole orignal version of ura/master quest zelda.
