Uhm...was Zelda : OOT planned to be used in conjunction with the Ura - Zelda Disk?
Or would the game feature a stand-alone load bios?

Maybe there are some reference code in the old 1.0 version that would have been used in Ura Zelda.

I'm amazed at how much stuff is in there and its just a 256mbit cart.

All this talk of Zelda nudged me into playing The minish cap and finishing it. Some of the enemies, sounds, and other things had some Mario bros sound effects in it!

Nintendo is always putting in secrets in their games alluding to other Nintendo characters. Remember seeing Link at an INN in Mario RPG?

Now we need to hack Star Fox 64 and see if their arent flying dekus or whatever.

heh. that's nothing.. just look at the towns people in Zelda: Link's Awakening..

and about that "secret" in the first zelda game for nes.. I didn't even know it was another world when I first played it.. b\c me and my friends always used zelda as the name for link. we thought it was his name :D

Paper Mario 2 had a Famicom Disk Drive in it.

thats absolutely crazy, but extremely impressive. it does make you think about all the cool stuff that could be hidden in old games, and just never located.

and URA was intended to link to a regular OOT cart, you would just have inserted the ura disc into your 64dd and powered on whith OOT in the card slot, evidence for this can be seen in the hacked main screen with a link to the dd version, which i think came outta master quest somehow. it would have allowed shigsy to build his persistent gameworld around the work hed already done on OOT, and presumable finish/unlock stuff rushed in OOT (the blocked road next to the temple of time, the lack of a resolution for the zora kingdom)

    Think about it:

Deep within Zelda 64's code may be a Link and Zelda sex minigame! :D

That's what i'm thinking, they were planning it as a bonus feature (unlocked)?
Or Starfox 64/Lylatwars 64 was Mr. Miyamoto's fav game that he made at the time, maybe he has a personal version of OoT with it regularly available?

There is plenty, some programmers even have their own personal cheats! So thats why they don't get released...

One of the communities that does SEGA game hacking are hanging out at Smspower. They even found new cheat codes. Pretty sweet. Much respect to them.
